okay now, the form as not working as it was linked to user signup extension of that form plugin. It is working fine after enabling ajax submission and disabling user signup ext.

That is not issue with the plugin, you don’t need to detach file when uploading same file again, simple upload the same file and update the package, after update in file list there will be only the latest version of the file.
