Actually nothing to fix with wpdm for the issue, probably it should be checked from The Events Calendar, I tried with https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/ and it was working fine with wpdm pro without any such issue.
if you were using v2.7, you don’t have to migrate data, just need to delete free and install pro, data will be there.
@softfocus, everything looks ok there, probably earlier css files was not loaded properly or browser cache issue. File browser also showing files now, the path in settings page was incorrect.
