Link/Page template strings are hardcoded and not translatable.

That is not possible, But you can user [doc_preview] tag to embed pdf file and remove the [download_link] tag from page template.

You can change Publish Date from /plugins/wpdm-archive-page/wpdm-archive-page.php. To change Download to View, you will have to change link label in package settings or change it from link template.

It will show related items based on tag, you need to add tags with each item.
