I’ve got the same issue, let me know if I should start another thread.

When I click the link to a download, it properly loads the Page Template and Link Template on a wordpress page (https://mysite.com/downloads/download-page-01), but the wpdownloadmanager content is wrapped in the default wordpress post template. I don’t see anywhere in the wpdownloadmanager settings to specify the actual wordpress post template that’s applied to each download package/page. See html output below, my theme is dropping your content into a wordpress post template, inside the post-content div. I would like to be able to select the wordpress post template applied to each download package/page, see below, my default wordpress template is named “td-post-template-default”, but I have several other templates I’d prefer to use.

*Edit – I’m not looking for widget shortcodes, they work fine but I need all pages to be applied to a different post template if that makes sense

Hope you are well. Sorry for the inconvenience. Auto-install sometimes fails due to auth error or server file permission issue, however, you always can download and install any add-on from the below link.

Hope you are well.
You are updating the WPDM Pro after a long time. So, simply visiting the link and page template menu on the admin dashboard will resolve the issue. As the action will regenerate the templates automatically in the new style.
Go to Downloads>templates then visit all tabs there.
I hope it will work fine then. If it doesn’t work, please, provide us with your temporary wp-admin login details and site URL in a private reply for checking the issue.
Also, please share the related page/file/package URL with us where the issue exists.

Got the issue.
You are using a direct download link which is not ssl protected that mean that link is not https . It is causing the issue in mozilla firefox. Make sure all links of your website gets https.
If your site doesn’t make every page https, The solution lies only in firefox setting

However wpdm doesn’t use direct download link. You can check it by making packages or check the demo
In this case, You can set output buffering option disable to check it may solve the issue.

I suggest you visit the links and then make PDF of those using the ctrl+p button while on the page on browser. Then you can upload the pdf files as downloads.
or another suggestion you can copy/paste links in .txt file and then make those as downloadable files.
Then you can show like a list using this shortcode

If you just want to make link, it doesn’t need wpdm. you can make a html button and link there.

Can you please adjust the shortcode parameter, for cols parameter for data field name for download_link column, you may also can remove it from here, otherwise, if you trying to replaced the download link label with category link, it needs some code customization. please let me know

Please remove the current my account pages with translations and create new page with translated versions as I see some pages with account-2 links
Then let me know.

Hope you are well. I think for this page, https://congserve.staging.wpengine.com/the-foundation/ this accordion portion c-3-Reformation graphic you are using package shortcode and it is using link-template, so it is not rendering the full content like package URL where it is using the page template. you can compare the link template and page template from Downloads> Templates and also from package settings for the related packages.

And for the second issue, you are using shortcode in your template/related link template. For the template section, the template only render template tags/variables, please check the right sidebar section and also can check this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/template-tags/
