    Hi Truong,

Hope you are well. Can you please check this shortcode doc,

[wpdm_all_packages] – List all downloads in tabular format in a page – WordPress Download Manager (wpdownloadmanager.com)

Adjust the cols and colheads parameter download_link and Download , thus the column will be removed. I hope you have understood.

    Thank you and regards

    Hello Nayeem,

I am trying to achieve this effect:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/12BMxr_kq921gz7FuOuvcErLV1R24LnoA/view

    But can’t.

I have created a Link Template, NHS Direct File Download, but when displayed, there is always a DIV container around the template, <div class=”w3eden”>, I can’t see to get rid of that DIV container for this Template only, so that I can achieve this effect.

    Hello Nohud,

Hope you are well. Are you trying to bind the packages to the categories, For Category access and package roles please follow the below steps as I describe below,

Before giving access to a certain category for a particular role you have to set from the edit category option, then you have to make empty for Allow Access option or have to give a particular role on it like as I image attached or as usual for select member option too,

    https://i.ibb.co/2M16sXn/category-access.png

    because

Package Access = Package Access + All Category Access = All Visitors + Author = All Visitors

and Package Access = Package Access empty + Category Access(Author) = Author

    or Package Access = Package Access(Author) + Category Access(Author) = Author

More details can be found in the below link,

    Allow Access: Access Control Option

    Hope you have understood now.

    Please let me know

    Thank you and regards

    Hello Nayeem,

The Link Template is ‘NHS Direct File Download’.

On the Page, ‘Publications’, I have a text module (using the Themify Framework) and in the text, you will see the WPDM Shortcode.

    Best regards,

    Sean

    Hello,
Sorry, Unfortunately, there is no way to direct download via wpdm from playstore. You have to add the apk files or add the links in the text file. Basically wpdm is to manage files on your own wordpress site. You have full control on it with wpdm with security.
However, you can add google drive addon or dropbox addon with wpdm to add files from it.
    Thanks

Displaying a Single Document Download Inline with Paragraph Text

I am trying to display a single document download within and inline with paragraph text, is this possible?

I have created a brand new Link Template, but, when displayed, there is always a DIV container around the template, <div class=”w3eden”>

Here is the Template I am using:

    <span class=”wpdm-nhsicon”>[icon]</span> [title] <span class=”text-muted text-small”>([file_types], [file_size])</span>

Please view the image on what I am trying to achieve with regards to having a document download, inline, within a text paragraph.

    https://wip.joinedupcarederbyshire.com/wpdm.png

Can you advise on how this is possible, hopefully, without too much modification to the original templates? If I must, so be it 😊

    Icons

Is it possible to have two different ICON sizes? AS far as I can see, the ICON using the same CSS, class=”wpdm_icon”

    Best regards,

    Sean

    Dear all,

I used the Insert Url feature for linking downloads to our external partner.

Since one of the last updates these URLs do not work anymore, which means instead of linking to the external URL the point to a “randomized” URL of my own webspace, which does not exist.

    See the Example here:

    https://solutionsforscience.de/download/om-505-datenblatt/

Once you click on Download it links to a page on my webspace (which does not exist) instead of the URL that was inserted in this package via the Insert URL.

    Image of the package detail:

    https://upload.adminforge.de/r/WRQCrV68Ht#Ptd26Lhx24TRUIOn+9jscwPHFt3uHCw/iAg05JP/vZM=

    Thanks for help,

    Hello there,

So, Instead of downloading you want the download link to go to the details page?

In that case, you can use this.

Template tag lists can be found at the below link.
    wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/template-tags/

    Thanks.

How do you not understand what I am telling you?

I did share the link to where I am working on a responsive table for these buttons to appear.

I even created a picture so you can follow what I am saying for both of the things I pointed out.

Even on the point about one of my products was set to free download.  It was so I can compare what a normal size button would look like.  The “download_link_extended” code creates a button that is much larger.  I want  to resize it and that is why I gave you a link to the page that has those.

The other issue I discovered is that even using the button doesn’t work.

Let’s say I am customer.  I see the button to use my 5 credits to download the video.  I press it.  It ends up creating a stack of “download” buttons.  I gave picture of that.

I suggest logging into the site and seeing what I am talking about.

I just discovered an issue with functionality.

I clicked on button to test and it created multiple download links afterwards.

    See attachment.

It seems that it is not easy to fix this error.
Can I change the original request?
Can you help me change the link of the “Download” button, it will go to the download page instead of downloading the file directly. (This helps me no longer need the link on the title of that download file)

    Hello,

    Hope you are well.
Yes you can select users created by wordpress with the advanced access control addon.
However, you can allow access to specific user roles with wpdm itself.

To test it yourself for packages from our demo site, please visit the below link with username/password demo.
    https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/addons/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpdmpro

You can also select category for specific users. To test that, please visit the below link you will see the user access option there.
    https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/addons/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=wpdmcategory&post_type=wpdmpro

    Thanks

    Hi

I can see code in link-template-default.php – it seems okay, but it does not work.

    Hello @Daibt,

You have to edit link template using proper template tags.

If you are using the free version of WPDM and using the default template, you can edit the link-template-default.php file. you can edit it from download-manager\src\Package\views\link-templates dir. For making backup your file you may follow this doc,

    Template Files

And for related template tags, please check this doc,

    Template Tags

please let me know, if you need further assistance.

    Thank you and regards

    Hello,
Is there a way to change the message that appear once a form is submitted (with Form Lock add-on and Gravity Form). Right now we can change the Download Label and have the form confirmation as a message but the message ‘Your download link is ready now:’ seems to be coming from the Form Lock add-on plugin.
