I am using using [wpdm_search_result cols=1 template="sample-link-template"]
content for sample-link-template is as follows
<div class=”media”>
[icon]
<div class=”media-body”>
<h4 class=”media-heading” style=”padding-top: 0px;border:0px;margin: 0px;”>[page_link]</h4>
[download_link]
<i style=”margin: 2px 0 0 5px;opacity:0.5″ class=”icon icon-th-large”></i> [file_size] <i style=”margin: 2px 0 0 5px;opacity:0.5″ class=”icon icon-download-alt”></i> </div>
</div>
after searching, results are shown but both the title and download button are not working. Both are not clickable. I suppose these were generated by [page_link] and [download_link]
How do I fix this?
We have found the issue, it is actually with download page, if you email direct download link, it will work fine. However, we shall fix it with the next update.
Hi there,
I’m fairly new to using Download Manager. It looks like the link template button we were using on our website stopped working as reads that it expired.
Could anyone provide some guidance on how to get this updated? We have a pro subscription.
How can I use the short code feature to display all packages from particular category and have the link goes directly to the piece of contact I want them to download and not a separate page?
This is what I’m using, where “evergreen-commentary” category contains several different pdf packages.
[wpdm_category id="evergreen-commentary" template="link-template-card"]
Here it is:
[wpdm_my_downloads login=1 template=link-template-widget cols=2 cats=1]
You had to add cats=1
Updated to latest version of Download Manager now I have — Invalid download link — errors.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
First, please ensure that you are using the latest version of WPDM and the Archive add-on.
Also, please use the valid shortcode parameter from the below link.
WPDM Directory Add-on
I have tested with this [wpdm_archive button_style="default" template="link-template-default" cols=1 category="apk,123124" items_per_page="10" orderby="title" order="ASC" login=1 last_state=0]
shortcode and it worked well.

Hello Jason Levandoski,
For — Invalid download link —
, can you please open a new topic for your issue, please? we shall check it for you.
Thank you again and regards
The shortcode below worked as I wanted prior to upgrade to 6.3.2:
[wpdm_my_downloads login=1 template=link-template-widget cols=2]
It showed a filter based on categories on the left side. It showed all packages belonging to the categories where the user is a member of.
Now it only shows packages, where the user is mentioned in the members. It does not show packages belonging to the categories, of which the user is a member. It looks broken to me.
[wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 order_by=date]
shows packages as expected, but unfortunately it has no category filter.
Please let me know how to get the previous functionality back.
Hello,
It seems my plugins are updated and it seems whatever manual changes you made for me are gone or broken..
When I try any download link I get “— Invalid download link —” errors..
Could you take a look.

Hi!
Currently, the download Control Access is based on the WordPress user role.
I need to restrict access to the download with the WPFusion conditions.
And I need the restriction to be done on direct links as well (with the link ending with ?wpdmdl=ID)
How to do this ?
Thanks

Hello Oliver Hernandez,
Hope you are well. I have checked your issue. First of all your SMTP mail server is not working properly. The mail for the download link is not sending properly. Then for Invalid Download Link, it can be for setting Stock Limit: 0
from your related package settings or also can be for old Master Key
from your package. I have adjusted those for your shared package URL. please check and let me know
Thank you again and regards
Don’t worry – I’ve created them in my file. Could you please tell me which file displays the button? It disappears for logged out users so they can’t download but I’d like to keep it there and change the text “Log in to download” and remove the link.
I appreciate all your help.
Craig
Hello Craig McKee,
You can disable a single download page link from the link template. You need to replace [page_link]
with [title]
from the related link template. For editing link templates, you can also follow this doc to backup your file,

please check and let me know
Thank you again and regards
Hi, yes – the URL is https://schoolpolicytracker.co.uk/model-policies/ and I would like to remove the hyperlinks indicated here – https://snipboard.io/jLxVyb.jpg
I just want this to be a download list, they don’t need any more information or the ability to leave comments etc.
Hi Tanvir, Thank you for the reply, I think this is a great option for user-specific situations. Sorry for the delayed reply. Currently I don’t offer any kind of user specific access, so I have a few questions. First, the link to Advanced Access Control that you provided goes to a 404 page. So I went looking for it from the Add-ons section and found this demo link – https://try.wpdownloadmanager.com/addons/advanced-access-control/ but that also goes to a 404 page. I don’t see Advanced access in the demo you provided, what specific would I be looking for in the admin area?
All that said – would this allow me to assign one lock option to non-logged in users and a different lock option (or not locked) for logged in users? Ultimately that is what I’m looking for. A way to provide a limited access area a different type of download option… but I don’t want to have to manually apply that setting to every individual.
I appreciate your help!
Thanks but in the past I was able to use something like this:
cols=”title,download_count|download_link”
Does this no longer work?
Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
It appears that you are using an older version of the WPDM plugin. Please update it to the latest version.
Also, you are using the free version. If you have access to the Pro version then please download and install the latest Pro version from the below link.
User Dashboard

I have the [wpdm_all_packages] used on this page: https://www.formfactor.com/sales-service/file-library/
[wpdm_all_packages items_per_page="50" jstable=1 order_by="title" order="ASC" cols="title,excerpt|update_date|download_link|categories" colheads="Title|Update Date|Download::155px|Categories"]
All seems to work ok, but when you click a category it shows no results, even tho the files art eclealy categorized since they are listed on the page.
I also had previosuly been able to link directly to a set like so: https://www.formfactor.com/sales-service/file-library/?tax%5Bwpdmcategory%5D=rohs-cn but thats not working anymore either.
Please help
