Just purchased the pro version.
I there any way a can add a function that let people share the downloadlink (package) to an email adresss?
It does not have to contain the file it self, but just a link to the downloadpackage on the web.Best regards

Error from the theme developer. Can you provide additional insight based on this?
I am looking to take the Subscribe button that is found on the package page and add it to my link template to be displayed with every package listed. Basically I want the user to be able to subscribe without needing to visit the package page to do so.
The attached screenshot shows my directory. I would be adding this new subscribe button below my download button.

Hi,
I have a site using version 3 where most of the shortcodes work, but on 2 new sites using 4.0.6, the only shortcode that seems to work is the package link, all other shortcodes just show the short code (ie. [wpdm-pp-cart])I have uploaded just about every plugin available from the WP Download Manager site, but just showing shortcode only on pages. Even editing a link template most of the variables (eg. [popup_link]) just show the sortcode/variable code.
I would be grateful for any assistance.Best regards

When I chose Download Instantly option in the email lock I’d like that the user won’t receive any email with the download link. Just download the file.
What kind of code/php file should I modify?

Topic: Visual Composer disappears
– WordPress 3.9.1 (network)
– Salient theme with modified Visual Composer (modified by theme author)
– Download Manager Pro v. 3.3.8 and 4.1.2I had free version installed and everything worked nicely. I installed Pro v. 4.1.2 which for some reason disables Visual Composer totally. It hides all signs of it in source code, css file links etc. Tried installing Pro v. 3.3.8 and still had same problem.
Visual Composer works if I downgrade to free edition 2.7.0.
Any ideas what to do?

WPDM Pro has option to block mail domains, you can use that option to block fake/temporary/disposable email addresses. Also you can ask for email and name, send download link to their inbox rather than instant download.

Hi all!
Few days ago I have purchased Download Manager Pro v4.1.2 .
I’d like to set up an email lock with the download instantly option. I want the user to click on the download link, fill the form with username and email address and then be able to instantly download the file.
However, even checking the option “Download Instantly” in the “After submit form” I get the same outcome of the “Mail Download Link” , i.e, the user receives an email with the link to download the file.
I think this is a bug.
Could you please check it and get back to me with a fix or a way to solve this issue?Thanks for you time!

Hi, is there a way to make a button link open in a new window? I have just one category that uses LINKS for the file. When the Download button is clicked is redirects the users to the video. That’s great, but I would prefer to set the buttons in this category to open in a new window. Is that possible?

Just clicking the view link for individual files also gives an error on the resulting page:

The link to the file on the page doesn’t point to the file; it seems to point to an empty file. E.g. http://www.lothiancil.org.uk/download/summer-2014-newsletter/
Upgrading has really screwed the file downloads up. There are now now file downloads available on my clients site. I’d appreciate your help with this. Thanks.

Hi, that’s great for using on pages. However, that’s not going to work for the links that are given using the wordpress download manager “categories” widget. These are not a standard page, it’s an archive page created by the plug in I believe.

lists the files, but no longer lists the download link to the file.can you give me some guidance on how to setup a template to simply point to
an FTP directory and list all files with name, size, date and download link?thank you

Hi, currently my category archive pages look like the attached “cap1.png”. I cannot figure out how to apply or change the way the link templates appear on the default archive pages. Can I get some help please?
