Just upgraded to 4.2
The MP3 preview player is not working/broken
I get this error message “Error loading: “http://poprox.co.uk/?wpdmdl=3273&_nonce .. inside the playerIt was working fine before I updated. I am on WordPress 4.1
Also .. is it possible to add a video on the download page? I am trying to add an easy media video linked to a youtube video. I get a thumbnail but can’t click to play. Just wondered if there were limitations. Can I upload a video via FTP and link to it?

When I add a new package. Is there a way to set default values (ex. Setting the “Link Label”, Selecting “Allow Inidividual File Download”, or setting the Page and Link Template to default values? That way when I add a package I do not have to remember to always set those values each time.

Yes, you can have download link for each file/package on the category pages, please check here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ for more details.
About style, probably your theme overriding this, but need to be adjusted from theme developer.

So it looks like Download Manager and Elegant Themes are not compatible, which is why the download link isn’t displaying on the Category pages and why WPDM templates won’t take effect. If I change to a WP default theme (2015) there is a download link on the category pages, but not when using an Elegant Theme. Is there a work around or fix for this?

Is there away to have a download link for each file/package on the category pages? This way the visitor doesn’t have to continuously click each link to a separate page to download each file?

I still have the same issue with individual downloads, I deactivated all the plugins, but still..nothing
about the support, I never saw support like you, from what I know there should be an EMAIL to send my problem on, not just a forum !!
and about the no real fixes, because actually nothing has been fixed till now, and about harming my business because I already have clients waiting for their download links and didn’t get them yet, because of your delay to answer !!

Is there no way to block access unless referred from a specific domain?
For example, it only downloads if the link is directed/clicked from a domain page?

@rise, I just tested here http://….nl/download/verslagen-2014-2015/ downloads looks like working fine, but individual download link has an issue with v4.1.9 and update is coming tomorrow.

I am having trouble modifing the download link. When I check the radio button, in the individual package settings, that reads ” Allow Inidividual File Download” and update it nothing changes I still have only one download button for a zip file containing all the files.
I was wondering what can I do to show all the individual files for download?

I need help with following settings:
I’m using WPDM Pro with the Expo theme.
1. How do I eliminate widgets from the right sidebar on packages posts (ex: autor, tags, share, previous and next buttons)?
I see that in the widget code appears as inactive but still is showing on my posts. Where do I remove them?2. I’m trying to apply a page layout for the packages (1 column extended, Image on Top). I selected the template but is not showing on the package. I also tried with other alternate templates but no luck, the package (post) is not showing as the WPDM Pro page template.
When I also select to enable single file download, It doesn’t show each file individually for download, there’s only one download button for the complete package.3. I created custom links and sub pages and they’re not showing under the child pages in the menu as I configured them.
4. Where do I customize the Home module Page and control the content?
5. How do I eliminate the info en each Post (package) link. (Ex: In / by admin / on 01/16/2015 / No Comments)

Topic: Migration to latest version.
We’ve used the migration plugin to migrate all our downloads to the latest version.
Downloads seems the be there in the backend, but the front end show nothing. No download button, no listing.

I am using the Archive Page with the All Categories Shortcode ([wpdm-categories cols=3 subcat=1 link_template=”link-template-search-result”]). I noticed when I try to change the link template through the shortcode nothing will change, changing it through the Settings->Front End though does. Is there a way to set it so it uses whenever link-template I specify in the shortcode?
2nd Question, When I click on the download name, as your example it brings me to a playlist sort of page like in your demo (http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/wpdm-package/allegro-from-duet-in-c-major/). Am I able to change that through a page template or turn that linking off?

I see, in that case, simply add/attach the different site url with your package, so when user will click download link, they will be redirected to that site.

When I attach file and press update button attached file isn’t linked with the package.
File is just uploaded but not linked.
My release is WordPress 4.1 and download Manager 4.1.9

ok how to do that? I tried allowing only subscribers but that led to user not being able to see even the post or the download button/link

I just tested here http://dearestdebi.com/crochet-heart-scraps-appliques, it is working properly, mailing download link but not starting downlaod immediately
