Hello
I tried to change the _blank-png [icon] that is shown in the download results of the categories. I don’t know how. All I do has no effect. I mean the little red image that is before the download title which symbolize a .pdf file. This I want to have in the size 25×25.After that I don’t know if this will change the style of all. What I prefer is: that the title and the download link is beside the [icon] and not obove or under Much better the text is in the middle of the [icon] on the right side.

I’am using DM pro mostly for what it is meant to be used for; managing file downloads.
It works great!In our site we also have a few links to external pages that we want to treat and display the same as with the downloadable files.
Adding the link to a Package works fine. But in this particular case I would like the page to be opened in a new tab of my browser.

This weekend we upgraded to version 4 of download manager pro. We experienced serious issues with email lock settings, compared to the previous version.
– email confirmation does not work, no link to a pdf is populated, but instead a .txt file link plus messages that the link has already expired
– fields like “company” have completely dissappeared
– the email lock box mentions “subscribe” – which is not correct
– the box is to narrow for displaying the field to capture the email addressPlease let us know how to solve or if we missed certain settings.
Getting the email when a visitor wants to download a document is really important for our leadgeneration and the reason we are using download manager pro. This is not possibile anymore.

Since going to 4.1.8 pro, the software has changed something to make it no longer work. I tried to go back to 4.1.6 which worked, but that no longer works since the 4.1.8 was installed. I have clients that need to have this fixed ASAP. I even tried to go to the free version but that does not work either.
The link to a file or the uploading of a file does not work, it shows the file there and when you publish or update it disappears and gives you a 0 size file.
Please advise when the 4.1.9 fix is available.

Hello,
After clicking on the download link the Password box appears. This seems to be faulty. There are 2 input fields and no button.

1. I would like to switch-off statistics completely, last time i was checking statistics table for WPDM it was ~25mb and it was inaccesible from Admin panel… Either way they are not important for me, I just want to keep download counters(from what i saw they are not in same table with statistics).
2. “ASC”(main button on top) from Link Template is still not translated, is there possibility for manual translation?
3. “Previous” and “Next” from Directory Addon are not translated either – can i translate it somehow manually?
4. Some time ago i was asking about Package Update notification and regarding last thing i was mention there:
– is it implemented yet? I saw, that newsletter was updated some time ago, but not sure what was updated exactly.5. Is there some kind of changelog for Directory Addon? I’m not sure if i sould stick with my version(it works ok besides “weird” search algorithm).
6. Is there some kind of CSS for Images in templates? I mean for rounded-images in page templates or main images from link images.

I want to see the download count of each file as you hover over the image. I have tried using the [DownloadCount] shortcode in the php but it does not work :/
anyone got ay ideas?
It looks like i may need to find a way to link files to posts then pull the download count for each post.
Topic: Plugin Directory Disappeared
For some reason my plugin directory disappeared or got deleted. So I purchased the latest version and installed it, none of my packages are showing up, and when I go to the migrate tab, it says that all of them are migrated. All my packages should already be upgraded, I had to replace the shortcodes in the past, and I don’t really want to do it again. Also, none of my download links are working currently.

Twice this week I had to try to do some trouble shooting to see if my plug-in was working properly…it was/is. It was operator error! One woman was using her iPad and didn’t know she needed to have apps installed to see or save the PDF. Another told me that when she clicked her email link it said that the link expired. After playing around a bit I discovered that if you click the email link the download wants to begin. After that, if you click it will say that the link expired. I have no problem with that (as long as that is what it’s suppose to do) I have decided to write a “how-to” for downloading. I only do email lock. They enter their name and email and download begins plus another copy is sent to their email address. They need to have Adobe Reader to be able to read the PDF. Is there any other info I should include?

Currently we have big problems with downloads of larger files. The download fails/is interrupted after some MB (tested with various browser like IE or Firefox). This is not deterministic, sometime we get 13 MB sometimes 19 MB. It’s also no specific time duration to the interruption.

We use WordPress 4.1 on Windows Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5.7600.16385 and php-5.6.4-nts-Win32-VC11-x86.

When you click on a categorie you do not go to the categorie page of the download manager but to the “Search Archives” page of wordpress.
Same for download links how can i fix this?Please let me know.

I want to build more as 100 single Button for download. Only Download.My Template ist this and i think its for me perfekt
[icon] [title] [download_link]But when i upload with bulk, it takes in standard another template “with mp3”.
Can i change this template in standard?Can i say i want in standard an special icon maybe PDF?
