Topic: Update to version 4.1.9
I get a message on my plugin page to update to Version 4.1.9 Details ». I went to the update page under the blog tab, found the post for the new version, clicked on the hyperlinked word “here” to download but it took me to a page with my order number on it. I did not see a download link on the page. Can you please send me the link for the page to download version 4.1.9. Thanks
What i want to do is add a a column, input text area for users to enter their twitter name. They will be able to write their twitter name from frontend addfile and from add new in the admin. For example am not using the “Version” section. How do i convert that section to twitter? Or how do i create a new section for the twitter?
Kindly advice me on which is easier, to convert the “version” section or create a new one. How do i go about it and what files and what to modify in the files?
I have only changed the word “version” on my custom template to “Artist twitter” but i dont know how to link it to the frontend and how to link it to the admin section.Please see screenshot.

Topic: template demo doesn't work
I just bought this product and installed it. I tried to preview your templates admin > Downloads > Templates > Preveiw, but nothing happen. When I scroll over the “preview” button I can see the link is to “#”.
So, where are all the templates? Is there somewhere on your website I can see them? Please don’t send me to your demo page, I have seen that and it is not that easy to navigate.
BTW, your demo page has a misspelling at the top of the page “Downlod” instead of “Download”. My client nearly didn’t want me to buy your product. I recommend you clean it up.

if you use password lock, after use enter password once, the download link will be valid for 3 tries. But no way to bypass password, but if you are selling those, you can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/premium-package/ , then only customers will be able to download.

Please advise on this matter. We have attached directory to package and all files got listed in downloads table, but links to files all start downloading generic download-manager-file, and real file links are missing.
Could you please help with this, I’m attaching screenshot.

I have recently purchased your plugin because I am selling antivirus/web protection software to people and I needed a way to lock down the installation files. I do not want anyone to be able to download my packages without first entering the password I give them. That way I don’t have extra licenses floating around that I’m paying for. Well today, on my android device, I got a notification that someone had downloaded one of my files. I have all download package pages not indexed and not in my sitemap and there is no direct link other than the forward I have from PayPal. So far, this download hasn’t been redeemed to a license, but it makes me nervous that someone could download the file without the given password…
Could you check to see if this is possible and if this has ever happened?

I had a working copy of free Download Manager, but after installing Download Manager Pro, i get blank pages on all admin, pro links including settings. It works fine without Pro plugin. Please help. I have the latest word press installed.

Having the same issue as a new user with a new install. In my case, I can use the S3 metabox on the Add New Package page to browse, create buckets, upload, and attach files. But when I try any actual download links on the front-end package page, I get something like this back:

Thank you. I need its on single-page-template, because I wan’t to work only with 1 picture for the downloads on all places in page and Thumbs. because the pictures will have a look like download button it is better if the user on single page can use the picture for download to – like the button link, because the will klick on, I think.

I have install the add ons and now it works for me. But it is no good idea for every little function to have another plugin. its slow down the wp. would every plugin works this way you will need hundreds of plugins 🙁
It would be better, pay the money with template and archive possibilities for one plugin …But I like your solution. it is what I need.
Only one question for now: How can I in single template give the thumbnail the download link? (I want download link and thumbnail link work for download because the thumbnail picture has an download massage in picture)Thanks für your solution

We don’t understand, how we make category templates to get for example out all thumbnails of an category … we only find out a archive page looks very bad… only links

i get only a tab give out the text but not the downloads .
maybe we need WPDM Directory Add-on to give out categories?
but the plugin is from 2012 …sorry for misunderstanding. but the men tries to help me first – works with a lot of plugins before and made a lot of wp installations

may be you have an integration tutorial, what is to do step by step for integration in own templates…(looking for example php code I have to integrate in the taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php and single-wpdmcaategory.php)

I told you to upload files using ftp so that you don’t have to recreate packages, as file names were already associated with package, if you would just upload the files using ftp, all download link would work fine 🙂 .

You need to create a custom link template, docs for templates are here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ , FYI: while creating link template you simply need to skip [page_link] tag to avoid link to details page.
Yes, you can use your own custom html/css with link template.HI, in my project I have to set one wp page for downloads. As I insert the shortcode [wpdm_package id="whatever_id"] I get a button with the direct download and an anchor that leads me to the download sub-page. I do not want to move away from the wp page… how do I eliminate the second link? Also, it seems almost impossible to customize anything with CSS because a lot of style is hard-coded into the plugin. Is there a way to be able to use our custom CSS and match the website style? Thank you.
