I have purchased the Live Form add-on and have created a form and linked it to a download with the Enable Form Lock option. Is there a way to have the form show up on the page instead of as a modal window? I would like to have the form displayed directly as part of the page and not a pop-up.
If that isn’t possible, then I need to adjust the modal window as it is scrolling off the bottom of the page and I can’t adjust it or see it to actually see the submit button (it is getting hidden behind the footer on the page instead of on top). I have uploaded an image showing the modal window when I look at the page.

Hi,
When there are more then one download link with a pop-up on a page, the first one appears fine, but the other pop-ups appear with this error:
<button type=button id='close' class='btn btn-link btn-xs pull-right po-close' style='margin-top:-4px;margin-right:-10px'><i class='fa fa-times text-danger'></i></button> Download Free PDFI know this because when you refresh the page, the pop-up works and if you try any of the other ones, the error comes up.

Topic: PHP Not working in template
Hi there,
This is probably a stupid question but when I insert PHP in the Page template it just comments it out?
I guess it is something to do with how this page gets rendered, how would I go about putting PHP in the templates?

Got it. I’ll be watching for the auto-update feature, that seems the norm for 98% of the WP plugins I’ve ever installed. If the WPDM plugins are not updated normally, what is the method? I understand I need to download the new version. Do I then just install it as if the existing plugin wasn’t there? Will it keep all of my configuration settings? Do I have to manually deactivate or reactivate anything during the process? Is there a page on the WPDM site that explains any of this? The link in my WP site just goes to the purchase page.

that will require good amount of customization in plugin too. In plugin need to add a new option to upload/select file/url to link with 2nd download button

What is the shortcode you use in the page to match your archive 2 (http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/style-2/) style and functionality including the ajax loading of files when you select a category?
I am using
[wpdm-archive button_style=”default” link_template=”link-template-panel” items_per_page=”10″ order=”asc”]
but when you click a category it opens up a new page.

ok, to insert link in regular post, please install http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ , you can install the add-on directly from Admin Menu Downloads Add-ons

@Emmaxson, dropbox add-on direct link only stay valid for 4 hours, so why I need to change it to preview link. So direct play will not work for dropbox files, however we are working with core api and an advanced version of add-on will be available soon.

Right, if anyone else struggles with the S3 side of this I recommend the link below. I found the majority of documentation concerned with setting up S3 buckets isn’t actually relevant to creating download packages. It’s not actually difficult when you know how but it took me a while being new to AWS. If you agree with the process in the link, especially the bit about altering metadata of files in bucket, perhaps you could refer to them in your S3 setup documentation. Would have saved me days.

from admin panel it just unlink file from package, it doesn’t delete file from server as same file can be linked with multiple package. However you can use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/file-manager/ for deleting file directly from admin panel.

I just activated the dropbox plugin but I noticed that when the download button is clicked, it redirects to the dropbox link.

When I started using WPDM, FTP uploading image files to a folder other than the default ‘download-manager-files’ and then using the ‘Bulk Import’ tool to ‘Import Selected Files’, would automatically copy those files to the ‘download-manager-files’ folder and have the proper file format icon linked to them.Your response was…
You will not have to copy files manually to download-mamager-files dir except there are some dir write permission issue in your server.I might have mistakenly taken that to mean that what I was proposing, and what I had success with before (use ‘Import Selected Files’ to move files from an initial upload folder to the final folder), was what you were saying should be standard functionality. In fact, what you might have been referring to was the ability to FTP upload files directly into ‘download-manager-files’. To be clear, I DO have that ability. The reason I chose to upload files to a different folder first was because it was difficult/time consuming to scroll through a huge list of files in the ‘download-manager-files’ folder to find the ‘new’ ones to select for ‘Import Selected Files’.
Maybe what you are saying is that the normal procedure should involve using the CSV for the import process. Is there any place that talks in more detail about the CSV import file? After looking at it several times, I’m unclear about what I should be placing in the different fields/columns.
