For the form lock, it triggers download immediately, but if you want to email download link, you need to check

Thank you for the link. I am aware of and have started working with the templates.
But there is nothing in the post about changing the format or adding css.
I just need one solid example of how the css gets defined in the tempalte.
Or a list of the css tags to change for a template.Do I just drop in new css definitions into the the top of the tempalte and add my own tags?

I have created 21 download packages.
I have the WPDM – Extended Short-codes plugin installed and I’m using the shortcode: [wpdm_packages template="link-template-default-icon" item_per_page="30"]
But only 10 items show on the page.
I’ve even set Blog pages show at most posts to 100.What am I missing?

I cannot seem to find anything related to setting up custom styles for Link or Page Templates.
I have a theme that has a color scheme that completely conflicts with the DownloadManagerPro color scheme and I need to change the colors or pretty much every element..

When I try to use firebug it’s not clearly obvious all the elements I must over ride.Do you have a blog or reference to help me out some?
Is it as simple as embedding the desired css into the Link or Page Template I build or clone?

I see that it is not possible, but I do want to have custom data displayed which include: custom taxonomies, custom column in the download table to display the language of the file, add a favourite button using the favoriteposts.com plugin and adding a video preview to all the video’s downloads which are hosted on Vimeo. How would I go about this when I can not use normal PHP? It can’t be that I am the only one who wants this?
Can I create some sort of function and load that using your weird shortcode method?

Hi, I’ve no doubt missed something obvious here but I cannot find any way to add a (useful) active link as a widget that shows users they are logged in and gives then an option to go to their dashboard/profile page. In essence something similar to the ‘Hello, User Name’ button you have on this site.
I do not want to provide this via the standard WordPress admin bar as this is just for people downloading content.
I have currently used the shortcode [wpdm_user_profile] in a widget and whilst this shows the user name (good) it doesn’t show a link to the dashboard or to log out (bad).
Like I say assume I’m missing something obvious here. What are my options – not forgetting I do not want to use the standard WP admin bar,

I couldn’t search your forums so I’m not sure whether this solution has been provided before.
Two parts to this:
Part 1
When I import this file as a test:

It immediately redirects to the Downloads > All Packages tab instead of allowing me to complete steps 3 – 6 as stated here: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/bulk-import/
The file I’ve entered in the heading files is not linked to the downloads either.
The files are all in a folder called coc in the root WordPress folder.
How to I get the files to attach to the imported data?
Part 2
The file I’m importing has 1000 rows in it. Somewhere between importing 300 – 500 rows I get a 500 Server Error and the import stops. It’s never consistently breaking on a certain row, each time I run it a different amount of rows are imported.
What is causing this to crash? Is the import not built to handle large batch files?
Please let me know how to fix both issues. Thanks.

First a question and then maybe a bug I found.
1. Is there a routine for a ‘Request New Password’ within WPDM or is that all handled by the WP User function?
If not…
Then I think the plugin might be conflicting with the WP Function for resetting the password. When I click the Request New Password link at the bottom of the login form (http://www.nettedtogether.com/download-login/) it takes me to (http://www.nettedtogether.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword). This generates an email to me with the following:

However the link to reset the password is missing. I tested the routine on a few other wordpress sites and they all work with the link coming through. I compared the scripts on the wp-login.php page and it’s the same, so I’m guessing it might have been something in the custom work you did?
Hopefully you are able to help me with another issue. It seems that any PHP I add using the overwrite feature in my child theme does not work.
I would like to include a Vimeo embed to a download, so that users can choose to stream or download the selected video. I created an oEmbed custom field using advancedcustomfields.com, but there is no way to get the data on the page using your proprietary templating system. As an alternative solution I thought to just drop the Vimeo link in the content field which WordPress automatically turns in a embed code, and this works great on the backend, but on the front end. Again because you are not using the WordPress way of things, I just get the URL back.
I also have created a site wide taxonomy which is connected to all my different post types (10 in total) for which I have created a specific template file that I include on every single.php. This list the connected terms for each post and links to a global archive with all the post type filters (e.g. the term

1. for email lock you can ask for visitor’s name, how to add to ask for their phone number too. How to add additional fields?
2. I am using button template and I can’t seem to set it to be centre, how to do this? at the moment its left aligned.
3. Link sent to email function is not working, how does this work? Where to edit the email and message that sends to people who have subscribed to download the link? (Where is the email sending from?)
4. Email notification to admin of downloads – is there a way to set that up?Please advise.

Did you test the emailing functionality? It’s still not emailing the download link. It is now downloading the package when I click the download button while on that setting but It’s not emailing the link. Can you please assist me with this issue? I really need this to work soon.
