Topic: Customise download page
1. Can I add one more download button at the download page which pointing to an URL ? For example the button named “Download (mirror)” and I decide the destination link.
2. if its can, can I make every download page have 2 or more download button which random order, so the user will try every button to find where is the real download is.
Topic: Update crasched the plugin
Hi i just updated WPDM Pro and the whole plugin stopped working… (Clicked on the link in admin – plugins)
In License key page it just was a “0”. All download links gone, and so on.Could it be related to that our license probably is expiring this week? But as usual I do not see how to pay for another year?? I have not recieved any billing email and I can´t find any payment info/page on this site…? Should I buy a new license like I never been a client before?? Or is there any discount if we continue for another year like many other plugins have?
I am happy to have done a backup before update, so I could go back easy. Now I will wait for some days before I try to update again…

So it appears that I must turn off single file download option in the global settings to get the agree to terms working on the category and file specific pages.
Now, the problem still persists that users can download the file directly from the table that shows all of the documents without agreeing to the terms. The download link is simply present in the table.
What next?
Please help.

So after updating to the new PRO package, the PHP warning has gone away. Nice.
But, I am still having trouble with the “agree to terms” locking option. I have two files that are setup perfectly. The locking option is present on the front end, but, the download link still appears even before the user checks the box to agree to the terms.
What is going on? Am I missing something?

Currently, it only lists the full package. The client wants to upload 4-5 files to the package and then on that page list the package and below it the contents of the package (all the files).

I am currently experiencing more issues.
1.) When I click on the main page I have applied the shortcode to I get this warning multiple times:

2.) I have enabled the locking option, but there is still a download link that users can click on that does not require them to check the “agree to terms” checkbox before downloading.
Please help me.
I’m using the twenty seventeen theme, and very few plugins, none that are conflicting with the DM plugin. I’ve already went through the process of trying a different theme (which was uneccessary since I’m using the default theme anyway), and I’ve deactivated all plugins except DM.
I need this resolved ASAP.

sorry no, finally we had to discord the feature, but you can use link template in category page or tag page but not in search result.

We’re working with wordpress 4.7.4 and Download Manager Pro v. 4.6.3
I add feature images to my download packages.
Unfortunately, I’m unable to display these feature images in the card.
A post that include the short code: [wpdm_package id='70' template="link-template-msthumnail"]
shows me the image image
instead.Note that when I click on this card I can then see the feature image.

I set up package to be emailed to customer after purchase.
– They are not receiving Email notification with their link to download.Instead they receive the “thank you for purchasing email”.
How do I enable the email template to send them the link to download the package?

That is not possible, But you can user

I have a question. What I want is that when a visitor clicks on a download link the visitory only sees the content of the file. I don’t want that the visitor has the possibility to download or print the file.
Is that possible and how?

You are using pro, we differ free and pro by version number, v3+ is pro.
You can clear stats from the settings page, there are 2 buttons to clear stats and cache.
Stats uses the date/time from the server.
Please give me those 2 urls and temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply to check your issue.
To open download link in new window ( which is only applicable for public downloads ), you need to use following html in link/page template:

Today I have downloaded and activated the WordPress pluglin, “MonsterInsights” (version 6.1.7) to help integrate with my Google Analytics account. One feature of MonsterInsights is that it tracks outbound links and download links.
My Google Analytics is correctly detecting when a user exists my website via an outbound link. It is not however detecting when a user clicks on one of my download pdf files from my website (no event is generated).
I wondered if you’d experienced any issues with the interaction between “Download Manager” and “MonsterInsights” that might explain why downloads are not being detected by MonsterInsights?

DavidTopic: How to change label wording
Hi
I would very much like to change the wording of the download link label from ‘Download’ to ‘View’ because in some instances there is no actual attachment to download, just a link to an externally hosted document.
Also, I would like to change the wording on the archive page filters and if possible change the magnifying glass icon to a FontAwesome icon.

Icon and logo changed my website and my site’s logo will be displayed in the browser, but the link to download the WordPress logo is displayed

There is no option to bypass cart for premium files. Plan subscribers can download all plan packages from membership download area. Use

Do you want to disable the warning panel? You can edit panel content from WP Pro Membership settings.
Topic: Email template not working
Hi, I use file lock option, and then send link by mail, but the email the user recieves is with shortcodes, for example, [download_url], but the shortcode, not the value for it. Also, I don’t know if I’m doing wrong with templates, as there are two email templates folders, one in plugin’s root and another in tpls folder.

When users input their email address to download, the automatic download is no longer working although they do receive the email confirmation with the download link there.
