Hi,
When you have a multi-file package, and a user downloads the package, as you know it creates a zip from the attached files and downloads it. If you have “cache zip” option enabled, when another user downloads the same package, it serves the zipped file created earlier. But if you have the option disabled, every time a user clicks on the download link, it creates the zip again from the attached files, which is required when you attach dir with a package and upload files to that dir using FTP.
However, the option enabled or disabled, it doesn’t delete the created zip, only updating the package will delete the zip.In reply to: Need assistance in configuring plugin

You’re trying the direct download link – which is not what users see.

You will see I have an “email lock” on Word & Excel download – they are not working.
When user clicks on them it adds #unlock in the URL and nothing happens.
Please note: there is no email lock on PDF download, which is working fine.So, it is a problem with “email lock” functionality with download.
Please check again!

I posted this and started to get an answer but have not heard back so here goes again. I have set up a download of a pdf and it works fine as long as I do not turn on Enable Password Lock. With this enabled, the download button appears when the correct password is entered but when the user clicks on the download button all they get is “Invalid Download Link.” The passwords are entered correctly with the brackets ([ ]). What could be the problem?

Oh, I have thought it is with live forms, but contact form 7 generally not create the download link immediately. How do you have managed it? It sends the download link to the relative email.

I’m logged in, see my avatar and name in the button, but clicking on it does nothing. Tried the latest Chrome and Firefox.

Hi,
If somebody clicks the download button, then it needs to stay on the same page for some time. Like when you press the button it downloads the file from the generated link. By default, the feature is, it has to be closed the popup manually.

Yes, You can follow this doc and edit templates, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/, by default, you are using
link-template-default.phpforlink templateandpage-template-default.phpfor thepage template. As documentation, you have to copy the file in the theme directory naming a folder calleddownload-manager, then paste it intpls>page-templatesforpage templateortpls>link-templatesforlink template. Thus you can also replace your default template by custom made template.I hope it will help you.
