Hi!
We are very,very new to Download Manager. Tried to search the forum for similar topics but could not find any, so please advice me if there is some info available.
Our problem is that the download form(?) is displayed quite nicely on a webpage. But on a mobile it’s not so nice – if you have a longer document name (like 20 chars) it’s wrapped quite uggly. Is there away of customizing where the text should be displayed? (changing the font, don’t get it so wrapped etc).
I’m also trying to use the Download Manager to send a screen shot of the picture (again, beeing very new to Download Manager it’s perhaps not the right way to do, if so please tell me).

I have purchased the newsletter add-on because we want to capture the email address of people that download each of our documents and be able to notify the downloaders if the post has been updated. I have it installed and you can see a sample here, it seems to add the never miss an update subscribe section but when you sign up for it, it doesn’t seem to log or save the email addresses.Is this the correct way to set something like this up? I was hoping to automate this process, is that an option? Or will we manually need to go to the download and click the notify subscribers button, type our info, and send them an email that way? The documentation isn’t very clear on how to accomplish this, but the pre-sales person I spoke with said the newsletter add-on would do all of this for us.

How can I copy the link of a single file and put it in an email so my customer can download it without open the website page?

Trying to decide if WPDM will work for us.
Currently the shortcode link in the Downloads Files section can be clicked. It then says “COPIED”. When I try to paste it, nothing is there.

Topic: Free Download not working
I have some users that are able to download for free and some that have to pay. While the site shows a download link for the users that don’t need to pay you click on it and nothing happens. There is no error message, literally nothing happens.
If it’s a paid download it goes into the cart as expected.

The bulk import stopped working on the WP Download Manager and I’m at my wits end trying to remedy it. I used to be able to upload multiple files for a single link and now I can’t. It acts like it’s doing a bulk upload, but each file just replaces the other.

Based on the image you have shared, let me explain a thing with you that, it’s not a shortcode rather than it’s atemplate tag.
Template tags can only be used inside the WPDM related link/page template.
You can check the below page for template customization.

I see that you changed the page layout for this one. My issue is that on a page like this – http://portal.cliffsliving.com/download/resale-membership-acknowledgement-form/ there is a link at the bottom for “View” next to Download. When I hover, I see PDF Viewer as part of the URL so I would expect that upon clicking this, it would bring up the PDF in a modal or something? Right now we are having to upload photos of the documents as Featured Images so people know what they are.

I am sorry unfortunately you cannot arrange attached files list with link templates this inside any package.
You can create a download package with one file or many files that will be shown there. you can only set search option for many attached files in a download package. All template tags and shortcodes are based on download package.Let me give you an example:

Here you see all the packages not single file. Every packages containing one attached file or multiple files.I found that you have used
[file_list]and[file_list_extended]template tags to show filelist.
Only these two template tags are available to show the filelist. No easy way to change the design for the filelist. To change that we need to change in php file in plugin.However let me know your thoughts about the issue.

However, You can use the[file_list_extended]template tag in the related template file which will create a downloadable image gallery and then use the package shortcode on your desired page.
