At the link you posted (https://so-arbeitet-deutschland.com/download/whitepaper-gesundheit-arbeitszeit-leistungsdruck) it does not work for us, tested on multiple devices and browsers: once you enter the data you receive a message saying that the data were collected, but no download starts and you have again the window to insert data with blank fields.
The same happens for all other downloads managed by WP Download Manager.
Please let me know.

Hello, I am hoping someone can provide some advice or point me in the correct direction.
Here is our setup:
We have a website that provides protected downloads to its members (the site is already using MemberPress for user registration/login etc.)
When a visitor comes to the site and navigates around, they will come across some download links to protected content (protected using WPDM with the link/button provided by the wpdm shortcode – using the link-template-button).
We are using the ‘Login Required Message’ to replace the download button with a button that takes the user to our existing login page (if they are not already logged in).
The Issue:
The login page requires a ‘redirect_to’ querystring to be provided to it, which is used to redirect the user after successful login. We are able to populate the ‘redirect_to’ using ‘[this_url]’ (this takes the user back to the page containing the protected download, but they have to click the button again to start the download). Ideally we would like the ‘redirect_to’ querystring to be populated with the link that takes the user directly to the file they want to download. Is this possible and if so, how?We have identified that if we append the following querystring manually: ‘wpdmdl=1234’ we are able to get the download to start.
I am hoping this is possible and someone is able to help.

Please simply click the Save Settings again for license key option from
Downloads > Settings > License, that will regenerate the access token. Finally, go to plugins page and update will work fine this timeand for add-on for now,

I have a problem, I have a lot of downloads inside the site, but the visitor cannot navigate the application packages until the download is finished, please help
Note: All plugins have been disabled, template changed, the problem has not changed

Ok, I finally figured out how to explain it by talking to another one of our new guys. If you click on just the download button it does it correctly. But MOST of our people are, for whatever reason, click on the name so the link jumps you to the second page with all the download information such as when it was last updated and all that jazz and then you can download it. Is there a way to not have THAT jump? Is there a way so that when they click on the name it just downloads? Does that makes sense? I wish there was a way I could screen record and show you. Sorry I’m being so confusing!

I tried it myself and even though logged in as a subscriber it still prompts for a name and email. There’s nothing there to create a password either. Still seems like the email lock and the subscriptions function is separate. If that is the case then should all the downloads be one or the other? I have half available too all and the other hidden only for subscribers. This is to give some teasers whilst encouraging uptake. If I make all unhidden then how should I encourage take up. If I have all as email lock do they get a password. Considering take up has been so bad I want to find the easiest way to capture email address’s from users who attend the site?

Hi. I’m still struggling with this. Could someone please visit the page I mention in my first post and click on one of the downloads. It takes you to a second page that you then can download the file. I just want it to automatically download. Not have the jump. It feels clunky for lack of better word. Any help would be great! I really like the look New Items sections (Covid 19, Hello, testp123, etc) but at this point if we could just get rid of my second page jump that would be great!
Hi everyone.
I’ve just downloaded the “email notification” add-on.
All my downloads are form locked. Downloader must write their first name and email to download.
When someone downloads the file, I do receive the notification with the name of the document that was downloaded, but the first name and downloader’s email don’t appear in the notification.
The notification template has this code line :
[#download_info#]Has anyone faced the same problem and could help me solve this ?

Replaced all the failing downloads and they work now.
One observation. All the failing downloads listed 2 files.
Topic: “Allow Access” question
Hi. I have WP Download Manager (free) and WP Pro Membership installed. I have created some sample files and a sample membership plan. I want to only allow downloads by signed in users with a membership plan. In package settings, I have set “Allow Access” only to my sample plan. However, I can still download the file in that package when logged in as a user with no plan subscription. What am I missing?

Hi! We have a site where we need to have our downloads sorted by UPLOAD DATE not UPDATE DATE. It worked a couple of months ago but seems to have broken in recent updates. When you load the page it seems to show them in upload date, but then quickly shuffles the downloads around and adds in the most recently UPDATED at the top. If you could please provide some assistance, it would be much appreciated. We received little to no support on the free version, so are hoping purchasing the pro version will be beneficial from a technical and support perspective.
We have tried both:

They all do this. You click on the download button and it takes you to another page where you have to click on the download button again. THEN it downloads. On the the second page it tells you the version, etc. We don’t want it to go to the second page. We just want to click the download button and it download.Does that make sense?
