Hi,
Is there a simple way to add a product to a client’s account without having the client going through the steps of buying it?
I want to migrate my client list from an external digital download delivery system and manage everything from my own website. But I already have 300+ clients who have collectively bought 1000+ products. Once the client have registered on the website, is there a way for me to easily ad the products they already purchased so that they can have access to downloads and updates right from they account page?
Ideally I would like to import the clients + their purchases from CSV. Is that possible?

Hi, I’ve installed the WordPress Download Manager plugin with the Advanced Access Control add-on. I’ve seen that to show the packages shared with a particular user we use the [wpdm_my_downloads login=1] shortcode.
But I have a problem. I use it but it doesn’t show. Am I doing something wrong? I leave a picture of what’s going on.

Is it possible to “Link” downloads together, like a related products feature. I have one file available in 3 formats, so I would like to display all three format download buttons on one download page.
A month ago all downloads were working. In the past two weeks, three out of twelve downloads do not have complete download links.

The downloads were using the FTP function. I relocated the FTP downloads to the public_html/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files directory.
I recreated a download page for a problem download and the incomplete download link condition continues.Please let me know if additional information is needed. Thank you and I appreciate your help with this.

I’m adding the downloads to my page using the standard shortcode that only has the item ID in it. I would like to be able to ask the browser to open the pdf/download in a new browser window since many of the links we are opening are not on my website. I basically want the target=”_blank” functionality. I assume the best way to do that is with the shortcode. I don’t see any general settings for the plugin that would allow that.
Please advise how I can make this happen.

I have a website where we have used the Email lock and Agree to Terms on a download. This has stopped working and the plugin itself is displaying incorrectly in the backend.
The Email Lock screen now displays a logo which is really stretched and the options to enter name and email address are not displayed:

is there any shortcode to list all files uploaded or downloaded by logged-in user, i d’ont want to use [wpdm_user_dashboard] and [wpdm_frontend] shortcode, i need just to integer those list in my custom dahsboard.

1. check your download manager category access to the subscriber roleDownloads > Categories > Your category
2. checkDownloads> Settings > Basic > Access Settings > When a user is not allowed to download: Hide Everything

It looks like I’ve been able to fix this by going into the plugin Settings and saving the settings again, which I guess cleared a transient or flushed something out, so the stats are tracking again.
There’s another strange thing happening, which is on the stats page (/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wpdmpro&page=wpdm-stats), the total downloads for “Today” doesn’t correspond to the graph or the “Export History” log, so it appears the “Today” stat is showing more like over 48 hours’ worth of data (i.e. a higher figure). I’m not sure if that’s something you can recreate on your own demo, or whether it’s just occurring on my website?
There’s a few other issues I’ve had too (e.g. PayPal payments are all listed as “Stripe”) but I’ll open another support ticket another day about these.

Topic: Update and passwords
Recently updated download manager and all the passwords linked to each download have been lost. Is there a way I can bulk add the same password to all the downloads?
The order_by parameter has recently stopped responding to any kind of input and has thrown all my lists of downloads into the wrong orders. Is this is a bug in a recent release? Is there a fix for this ?
We’re almost there, I need to know how we can “reset” the limit when they pay again. Let’s say they pay $25 (10 files plan) and they use it (they download 10 files). They want to try to buy the same plan, but they are already locked in to the plan. For a better UX, I’d like to let them know that their limit is passed and they are no longer in 10 file plan (we don’t have a time limitation but we have # of file limitation)
Is there anyway to cancel the membership “Automatically or programmatically” once a user hit the limit of downloads (10 files in this case) ?
Or even further, sending an email for a renewal. So they know that they have to purchase the plan again?
