i have purchased premium WPDM Pro and i have all the ad-dons in the zip folder. but the problem is with download limit ad-don. I wanted to have global download limit for only registered members is 5 items per day but it is keep showing ” Download Limit Exceeded ” even after 2 days and more. user is not able to download after any 5 items but he should be able to 5 downloads after one day, please help me to find out the solution and pl guide me if there any setting for this. see the screen-short attached here in.

I have cloned the MP3 Preview link template and added the the thumbnail short code but now I’m just getting the title displaying in the spot were the featured image is suppose to go.

Okay – I am one step further.
I had to log out to see something.
but the onlything I see then is some login and register fields (see screenshots) and as soon as I am logged in – I see nothing again.I wanted to see a frontend, where users can upload their own stuff (as seen in the demos).
(parallel I noticed that all downloads only load as a 0 byte file – but I put that in another topic).Hi There,

First:
I upgraded from 2.6.9 to the current Pro Version 4.12 (also tried 3.3.8 after) so I previously did the migration for the free version. Anyway – I installed but the package list appears empty. I then downloaded the current “copy-to-pro” file and opened the migration tab. Only two packages named “Version 3 packages” or so appeared with the note that those have already been migrated. I ran it again but still the package list appears empty.
We need to supply our customers with those downloads so I am hoping that there is a solution! (upgraded to the pro for the service as well as some issues I have with the free version).

i am offering free downloads from my website.
now i need to add a Download price on some of my graphics, once it reaches to a certain number of initial downloads, lets say First 100 free downloads.
I need to know if i buy your pro version, have this ability.
Once the free downloads reach to limit of 100, then it automatically change to Buy Now. upon clicking on it, the user will asked to make the payment to Paypal checkout page, once the payment is recieved at paypal, through credit card or paypal then the customer will recieve an email instantly having link to download file.

Update #2 – I found that all of the existing downloads had been set to a status of “Scheduled”, with a to-be-published time a couple of hours in the future. I’m not sure why that happened, but I simply waited a couple of hours and the files now are showing on the pages where I have included the category shortcodes.
Now that everything is showing, I’m finding that my order field = id in the shortcodes isn’t putting things in the intended order anymore because the ID’s were reassigned; everything is jumbled up. But at least the content is there.

Thanks for the help, I have tried the above steps but the results vary:
– Using Bulk Import, I can only set the Import Dir on the last directory and it will correctly import the files from this one directory. When I select a folder that contains subfolders nothing can be imported. We have thousands of directories and files, and need to import a top level directory, assign a category, and have WPDM create packages for each file and even for each directory. The display in the web page would be a tree view with expandable directories many levels deep. I cannot get this view, sorry.
– I’ve assigned directories to packages, but that also breaks the directory structure and shows thousands of files flat, with no organization. Nor does it allow for individual file downloads, just a single zip at the end of the page. Yes, I’ve selected ” Allow Inidividual File Download”.
– When I use the Shortcode for Tree View, the few files I can show all come up with “file-not-found.txt” error message. Are there restrictions as to the location of Directories / Files in relation to WPDM? I have set the “File Browser Root” to “/home2/asiancla/public_html/acipdb” WPDM is in a directory called “dev” at the same level, directly under public_html.
These are a few things that are blocking us from use at present, and I cannot resolve these issues after a lot of trial and error.
Any help is appreciated.

Can’t get Individual Download options to work. I would expect that link template would show two files if two files are attached to Package. But Package only has one link, and post that uses that package – only provides a zip download of two files.

This is horrible,
with the download page enabled, people can scroll through all the available downloads, wich i use for private invoices etc. I only want a download button just like the free version. When people hit it, the download starts. Nothing more, nothing less.

We want: (I think we are missing add-ons, Please, confirm)For a web applications/games:
1 -. Anonymous user can see all the cards games / applications (Ok.)
2 – Some games / apps require to login or register to download. (Ok.)
3 – Some games / apps require NO login or register to download. (Ok, but not the web show “You need login or register for download, please click here.”)
4 – The logged in user can buy credits with paypal, etc. .. (With Add-on: Pre-Paid Credits?)
5 – Each time the user downloads a game / application will be deducted from your credit (With Add-on: Pre-Paid Credits?)
6 – Each time the user downloads a game / application is sent an email (with Add-on: Download Notifications?)
7 – Each game / application has a different credit / value. (With Add-on: Pre-Paid Credits?)
8 – The user has control over their loans. (Ok.)
9 -. The user is warned when missing credits to download an application / game. (With Add-on: Pre-Paid Credits?)Thanks.

I have installed Download Manager with the Addon WPDM – Facebook Share Lock and activate the plugin!
My Downloads are possible via a link template only! See Screenshot 1! It works without problems!
if a activate Lock Options (see Screenshot) in the Download package with url of the facebook site nothing happens!
I become following option after klick on a download link! (Screenshot 3) – and nothing happens! Where is the problem?

Let me just add that of course zip files force browser to open dialogue box (as you can see on some other downloads on homepage (http://zooll.com) but I would like that to be the case also with links to images not zipped, and the v3 did that. In the attachment I am sending the printscreen of the jpg link package from v3 when it was all working the way I needed – opening the dialogue box even on images.

I’ve just installed v4.1.2. I previously had the free version. After activating, I went to Downloads > Settings but there was no Migrate tab.
I then downloaded wpdm-m24x.zip and activated. This displayed a migrate tab, but the old files were not displayed
What do I need to do to migrate?We are considering the purchase of Download Manager Pro but I’d like to confirm certain functionality prior to purchase. Could you please review below and respond.
1) We have over 5,000 files in hundreds of directories, many are 10+ directories deep. We have uploaded these to the server, and we need to be able to view these files in a tree and allow for both Directory level downloads (zips up all files in directory and downloads) and File level download.
2) We need the ability to set Category and Description at top level directories and have them cascade down all files in subdirectories.
3) Our file paths are long and we want to ensure they are fully supported. We use spaces, single quotes, parentheses etc. that may cause problems.
For example:
public_html/acipdb/SUNGBUM/’DUL BA_VOWED MORALITY (VINAYA)/DGE BSNYEN_LIFETIME LAYPERSON VOWS/SKYABS ‘DZIN DGE BSNYEN_LIFETIME LAYPERSON REFUGE VOWS/S12285E.ACTI’m not sure this is the correct forum for this request, pardon if it is not.

We have just upgraded to the latest version of Download Manager Pro. We also did the V3 to V4 migration. We installed the extended short code plugin when we were using V3, and we are using the [wpdm_tree] shortcode on our downloads page (http://www.akacosnulting.com/support/cmdownloads/). Everything looks okay, but when you click on one of the packages, there’s no link to the package’s page. The user just stays on the downloads page. I’m not sure what I have failed to do to get this working. Any ideas? We can create an FTP account for you, if required.

if you want to trigger all downloads at a time that will require customization in code and also may increase your server load.
Now you can remove
[download_link]tag and activate individual download, so that user can see the list and download files as they want.“to dot the i’s, can you make the Title to stick as well?” <-- may you please explain it little more.

That’s what I suggested… don’t zip ‘m but download all items in the packet simultaneously or consecutively when clicking Download Packet. This would suit me even better because the files I link through FTP are very large.
Now the “Download Packet” works a bit weird, it downloads only files that are locally… and there is no way I can show a user that some items are not included in the transfer when downloading the packet.
Regarding the title: to dot the i’s, can you make the Title to stick as well? It imports the filename in the title correctly, but after a save of the package the title is empty.
