For #3, Yes, It is also possible in the manual method, by default, you are using link-template-default.php for link template and page-template-default.php for the page template. you can edit the files and follow this doc, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/ for backup of your files.

For opening in new windows, please add this code replacing [download_link] in page/link templates PHP file as i described below,

Some internal functions create __ prefix in urls, which may cause issue.
For example, the wpdm plugin uses certain functions.
Check out this topic to see how the function is causing issues with different functionality.

Please update your WPDM – Advanced Access Control add-on to the latest version which is right now 3.2.3 or you can download it from here which should resolve your issue.

However, in order to fix the PDF Viewer issue please follow this setting.

Sorry to hear about the issue.
You can change wpdm styles from Downloads > Settings > User Interface option.
You can also test our free addon wpdm page template. Using that you will be able to select page templates from theme for wpdm packages.

I have checked from General settings that your WordPress address (URL) Site address (URL) are not same, so sometimes causing page redirecting issue. can you please check it and if possible make them same

Sorry for this inconvenience.

Initially it sounds like the URL found via WPPM stripe Webhook Endpoints you’ve added to Stripe via https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/webhooks may possibly not match this screen from your Stripe settings exactly.

Also Deleting and re-adding the webhook secret key may work.

So in this case, I would suggest you to recheck and re-adding the settings for both stripe and WPPM to fix the issue.

Download URLs like .../?wpdmdl=3221 are not usually crawlable and noindex, nofollow is only set for download contents. For now, no settings option is available for that. However, we shall add an option to control this feature in the next update.

Hope you are well. If you have already created a package. Then you will also be able to upload/attach files for that package. If you have kept just the file name you should keep the files in wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files dir too. And for local files, you will not be able to attach files from the local PC drive directly.
