Front-end Category Manager
Front-end Category Manager for WordPress Download Manager Pro. Some site admins may need to allow their site managers to manage categories as well as packages from front-end, this add-on adds a new menu with the author dashboard to manage categories in such cases. However, still, you can enable or disable from Admin Menu >> Downloads >> Settings >> Frontend tab. You also can show the category manager in a separate page using the shortcode [wpdm_category_manager].
Usage:
- Install and activate the plugin ( wpdm-catman.zip )
- Go to Admin Menu >> Downloads >> Settings >> Frontend tab:
- Check the option “Activate category management from frontend” to activate front-end category management
- You can use “Category Visibility On Package Editor” to control category visibility in front-end author dashboard for different user roles.
