kindly use this hook add_filter("wpdm_is_valid_mime_type", '__return_true'); in your theme’s function.php file. This should fix the issue.

If it is really related to the new update issue then it will be fixed using this code add_filter("wpdm_is_valid_mime_type", '__return_true'); in function.php file.
