Understood. The sort option in the TinyMce Button allows orderby Title, but not by slug – which is different than title.
Example would be the order of seasons. I’d want them to appear in the proper order, not alphabetically. So if I can sort by slug, I could make that happen
TITLE
Spring (slug: Season-01-Spring)
Summer (slug: Season-02-Summer)
Fall (slug: Season-03-Fall)
Winter (slug: Season-04-Winter)
I figured this out by switching to a custom template that reveals complete package. What I don’t understand now is the sort. Can I sort on slug for this shortcode rather than ID?
Hi Nayeem. Thank you. I did switch to the “Save in file” option and pressed Save. I emptied cache and still no custom templates appearing in the Downloads > Settings > Basic > frontend access > Select link template dropdown. Hopefully they’ll appear after the update you provide.
So far, you’re exactly right, Shaon. I’ve only copied a few files to test. I’ll report back when I have full confidence in the solution you provided. Thank you for getting back to me.
I received another phone call today from someone who was unable to do a “Download All” for one of the files under Interactive Faith Bible studies. So I decided to experiment. It appears that the “download all” function fails after the package and documents reach a certain age. For example on https://cad.welsrc.net/downloads-cad/interactive-faith/, the first package created in August 2018 will work with the download all. Any others after that will not.
Here’s where it gets interesting – the fourth link down “Practical Ideas for Lutheran Worship.” It was created in 2015, and when you do a download all, there are no documents in the zip file except the one that was updated this past July. Anything before that is treated like it no longer exists in the “Download All.” But there are 13 working files when you go into the package.
I find it hard to believe this is a problem of corrupt files and needing to recreate the packages. If I had a corrupt file, it would seem that I wouldn’t be able to open it individually either. It seems more like a matter of files aging out of the package download option.
However, Mac users get the files but they are deep in numerous folders /nas/content/live/wrc/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/AND THEN ALL THE FILES
Hi Shaon,
Ok, we’ll try removing any audio or video URL files from the download all type packages and instead present them separately. I’ll keep this open and report back soon.

Hi Shaon,
I’d say yes, but this is a multi-site installation. Its a real pain to do this with 20 sub sites. Since I’ve already applied the individual files patch, could I just get the code change instead for the image Thumnail function? That way I don’t have to go through all of these steps for each subsite:
SUBSITE upgrade steps
1 – For each subsite, deactivate the plugin AND all WPDM Addons
2 – On site network delete the plugin, add the new plugin file.
3 – For each subsite, activate the plugin AND all WPDM Addons
4- For each subsite reenter login credentials for WPDM
5 – For each subsite empty cache.
6 – For each subsite save settings
