As documentation, you have to copy the file in the theme directory naming a folder called download-manager, then paste it in tpls>lock-options>password-lock.php and change according to your need. I hope it will help you.

What type of custom fields need to show in your emails that get send when someone downloads a file. There is also a basic Email lock or Form lock option(form lock addon) for this feature. please let me know.
Settings>Frontend Access has a section entitled “Allowed Sign up Roles” the description of which says “ . . . users signed up using that form will be assigned to that selected role.”
Where will it show the sign-in button? you can restrict any package by lock option, or your can buy the WPDM membership plugin for restricting any page or post for sign-in access.
You can add a background CSS for Pay with Credit Card(Stripe) for highlighting it. Thus the user will understand it should be chosen. I hope it may help you.
When you are creating a package, don’t protect the media file from using the media file protection option, use package access control. The Media file protection option is for the cases when users are sharing media files directly without creating packages. Please let me know.
To enable the auto-update, login to your WPDM account from Downloads > Settings > Updates tab. If login is successful and you have an active subscription then you can update the future releases right from your plugins page.
