Yes, you can change. you have to replace the SVG icon from download-manager\assets\images\loader.svg. However, you have to manually replace every time if you update the WPDM PRO plugin next time.

With the latest version, it should work up-gradation from the WP backend. unless

you can follow one of these steps for now,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

Or

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Use a good file manager or FTP or asset manager option for uploading the plugin zip
4 ) Extract it in your plugins folder and activate from the plugins dashboard menu panel

Which version you are using ? with the latest version of WPDM PRO and WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks add on the registration form is working fine from my side. please check the plugins version if there need to update.

All email template variables you shall find Downloads > Templates > Email Templates in the Email Template Editor right sidebar. please check if your info variable is there or not. If need custom email template variables there needs to customize the code or some adjustments.

It is under every category.

Category access for roles and packages follow these steps as I describe below,

before giving access to a certain category for a particular role you have to set Use Link Template option and your particular role,

then you have to make empty forAllow Access option or giving a particular role on package settings,

because Package Access = Package Access + All Category Access = All Visitors + Subscribers = All Visitors

and Package Access = Package Access empty + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers

or Package Access = Package Access(subscriber) + Category Access(Subscribers) = Subscribers
