I have checked that, while pressing the SELECT FROM DROPBOX option, there returning a critical error from your side. I think it may have a conflict between your plugins or theme. can you please enable/disable other plugins for checking, you may also switch the theme to another for checking. please let me know then.

I have checked that, you are using the gravity forms for form lock, for the gravity form plugin, Add a hidden field and use this tag [wpdm_package_id] as a default value, the tag will be replaced by package ID automatically when rendering a form. you can use this form tag too for indicating in the email that the admin receives for the name of the file that the client downloads. please check and let me know if it helps you.

Sorry for the delays. I have enabled Downloads > Settings > User Interface > Bootstrap CSS. Now, I hope the error message will be disappeared. And for transferring WPDM, you may use a good FTP tool or you can also follow this doc too, https://wordpress.org/support/article/moving-wordpress
And for updating the WPDM plugin, I hope it will not be lost any data. I hope you have understood.

Choosing from the Select From Media Library option. By default, it will do so. You can also choose the other option too. When you attach files from the media library as a URL WPDM simply redirects to that URL when a user clicks on the download button, but when you upload a file directly or attach a file from the server as a server path, WPDM handles the download process and so there it can decide whether the file will open in browser or force download. So, if your file is already in the media library, and you want them to download instead of open in the browser, please attach those files using the server file browser instead of the media library file selector. please let me know
