And box.com image attach, the remote files may not work properly for all function, because they are remotely called, for working all functions, you may upload directly by attaching the images. Please kindly check.

If you want category filter you can use category_filter="true" in your shortcode. For this [wpdm_all_packages] shortcode, the link filter by paramreter is not available with the latest version, for category hierarchy, you can check and use this add-on, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on. For #1, You have to adjust css or editor alignment or preview for adjusting the image alignment, it doesn’t related to WPDM.
For #2, Please kindly check Downloads > Settings > General > File Browser Root, if it is okay or not.
