When these subscriptions expire in the future, is there a way to use Stripe instead of 2checkout? I’d prefer to be able to update my credit card through my Download Manager account (using the Update Card option) rather than dealing with 2checkout.

I had received an email reply to this thread but it doesn’t show here in this actual thread. This is the reply I received:

Hi there,

Auto-install sometimes fails due to auth error or server file permission issue.

However, you always can download any add-on from
User Dashboard
and install. Thanks. Post Link: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/urgent-wpdm-amazon-s3-3-0-3-conflict-with-updraftplus-1-22-5/#post-168989

I didn’t say that auto-install wasn’t working, I said that the Free Add-ons no longer show under Settings > Updates. They used to appear using previous versions of Download Manager but stopped showing in a recent WPDM update. My server permissions have not changed since I started using Download Manager years ago. I am aware that I can download the add-ons directly from my Download Manager account but it is inconvenient since I don’t have any easy way to see if there are any newer add-on updates unless I visit each add-ons page on your site to try to find what the latest version is.

Please also note that when I click the yellow Logout button on the Updates screen, nothing happens and I am not actually logged out.

Your changes have resolved the issue. Thank you very much!

I do have one other issue I’ve been seeing. In the Download Manager Settings under Updates, the Free Add-on tab has stopped showing the available free add-ons so I am unable to tell which of my free add-ons have new updates available. I have tried logging out and back in but the list remains empty. It has been this way for a while now. You can see this on my staging site which you still have access to.

I still continue to get the same PHP error from WPDM Amazon S3.

Thanks for your reply however your answer not correct. UpdraftPlus is actually using the very newest AWS SDK PHP version 3.209.30, released only 3 days ago. According to the developer: The actual problem is that WPDM Amazon S3 is loading its libraries on every single WordPress request (front-end, back-end, JSON, AJAX). In particular, it loads them on UpdraftPlus’s pages and requests. Because of the conflict, an error occurs.

Please see this response from the UpdraftPlus developer for his full explanation of why WPDM Amazon S3 is the source of the conflict:

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-fatal-error-conflict-with-wpdm-amazon-s3-plugin/

Please escalate this ticket to the developers so that they can correct this issue as quickly as possible. Thank you.

The issue turned out to be a problem with my Cloudflare cache. Somehow, something relating to the Download Manager Settings area from version 6.0.9 was cached in Cloudflare and was breaking the layout. I have cleared my Cloudflare cache and now the Settings dashboard displays as it should. Thanks for your assistance.

Hee is the full text describing the issues since they were cut off on my first post:

After upgrading to Download Manager Pro 6.0.8 from version 5.x.x and upgrading to WPDM Amazon S3 version 3.0.3, I am getting critical errors on my staging site. NOTE: I did already update all of my other WPDM extensions to their latest versions which I know is required. I have to go into recovery mode to get the backend of WordPress to load. In Recovery Mode, I see this message on both of the paused plugins: This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode. I have tested with a default WordPress theme and with all other plugins disabled and the issue still occurs.

@Shahjada, would you mind looking into this other ticket for me (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/wpdm-amazon-s3-update-date-option-how-to-change-date-format-on-frontend/)? Nayeem Riddhi doesn’t understand the issue as I’ve explained it. The credentials are still the same and active which were provided at the beginning of this older ticket. Thank you very much.

No, the issue is not resolved. As I explained in my previous post, I already had the date in WordPress set the way it should display on the frontend. This was set years ago, long before I created this ticket. The display of the date in Download Manager (for the Update Date option) isn’t respecting the date format that is set in WordPress.

midihead7

I already have the date set in WordPress the way that I want it (https://snipboard.io/YSZg56.jpg) so this isn’t why Download Manager is displaying the date as yyyy/mm/dd. I had said that the Update Date option on the Edit Package screen was a WPDM Amazon S3 option but it is actually a feature of Download Manager Pro itself.

I am taking about the display on packages in the frontend. The URL is behind a private login.

Thank you. The double entry issue is fixed.

I also noticed that the newest available version of Download Manager is actually 5.3.2 when installed but https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/download-manager-pro-v5/ and the current file download name still shows the current version as 5.3.1. Could you please update the version on the filename and the page so that the most recent versions are listed correctly? Thanks.
