create a new link template and use [download_link] template tag there, it will generate direct download link.

Note: it is not a generic issue. basically it is happening for few themes because of auto formatting text. So if you one else facing such issue, please mail to support.

in that case multifile pacakge should not have any issue, anyhow at this point i will need to check myself to find the reason.

@mma-ds, seems zlib not activate in your server. for multifile package zlib is reacquired

new add-on will be available soon with some new templates.
Also template preview option is in our to do list.
if you use category short-code then all link template will be from the category, anyhow your idea is good and we have no problem to add the option on next update

will be possible from v3.3.3, but in a different way, you will be able to add custom admin user for wpdm pro with different permission level. but now, if you enable multi-user option, each user will able to manage (add/edit/delete) their own packages but only admin will able to see all packages with full control.

Hi,
for now no upload option for icon from add/edit package window.
But if you want to use your own iconset , you can upload those through ftp in the following directory:

/plugins/download-manager/file-type-icons/

1st one for [popup_link] – link with package details page, on click page details will show in a modal popup
2nd one for [download_link] – link to package download

no problem with your install, we had a release candidate (v3.3.3.rc2) version our there but, you shouldn’t see the message anymore. if you still see the message then download and install wpdm pro again
