actually not ignored. you may say little delayed, as we are in heavy load with finalizing wpdm pro v.4.0, anyhow we have released rc1 where all issue form beta 1 already fixed.
problem was the base url value for wpdmrss was missing in wpdm settings page. we set the value and its working fine.
what type of error are you seeing there, may you please send a temporary wp-admin login info to support@wpdownloadmanager.com to check your issue.
now its rc1, anyhow still may have few minor issues, we are checking and clearing those. rc2 coming soon. Thanks for your patience.

for login form, use short-code [loginform] in Login Required Message under wpdm settings page. first part ( with subscriber ) of you query is not clear to me

1. delete all data in beta 1
2. delete wpdm 4 beta
3. please download and install rc 1
4. delete migration add-on,
5. download the add-on again and re-install
6. migrate data again.
It will work fine now.
try again with rc1 release. 1st delete all data in 4.0 beta, 4.0 beta1 itself and migration add-on, then install rc1 and migration again, now you can use the migration add-on to import data from 3.3.8, and csv import will work fine from rc2 release
user [download_url] tag instead of [page_url] , but it only will work with public download
add this code at the end of functions.php

sorry for all delays, not we are in high load with wpdm pro 4.0 release, after that we are releasing new update for newsletter and there all issues will be fixed.

extremely sorry for all delays, we are very busy for preparing wpdm pro v4.0 final release. anyhow I’ve confirmed from support team they already replied your email.
Just confirmed from support team, they didn’t have to do anything special, just deleted free version and installed pro
