If you are migrating from wpdm pro v3.3.8. As wpdm pro v4 moved to custom post type, it was not possible for us to keep same package id, as they already could be consumes by other post. So you will have to edit all package short-codes to set proper id again, category short-code will remain same.

in that case please make /download-manager/cache/ dir writable.

the add-on still not compatible with wpdm v4

1) download archive page addon again install v2x for wpdm pro 4
2) you can update link template from wpdm settings page or assing link link template using parameter ( details: http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on/ )
3) use category slug like [wpdm_category id="categoryslug"] , use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/advanced-tinymce-button/ to generate short-code
4) as #3
5) not clear, please explain little more.
6) if you don’t see custom fields make custom fields metabox visible from screen options.
7) clear browser cache

you should be able to download wpdm pro ultimate (v4) form your order page. please try again now.

wpdm pro v4 already release, please update your copy, you can use widgets there now.

Please use all lowercase chars for page url, like: https://www.facebook.com/wpedendotcom , but not like https://www.facebook.com/WpEdenDotCom .

wpdm pro 4 have the custom field integrated as regular post and you can use [wpdm_custom_field_table] tag to list custom field in tabular format at front-end, but we are recoding the custom field add-on for settings up some common custom field as default load for all package.

please use [audio_player] tag with page template to add play list. Full detailed manual on playlist creation is coming soon.

do you want a captcha field with email lock option? that is not possible yet.
