another reason could be the total file size there exceeding your server memory limit or check it cache dir is not writable.
FYI, if you delete single-wpdmpro.php from crypton theme, then the details page will automatically use the selected page template.

Could you check it?” <-- when you are using custom theme which is specially designed for wpdm pro, page template will be skipped autometically, and it will use the template with the theme and if you use short-code anywhere, there you will see the link template. you can add new and top download widgets from widgets page.
@MarvinTheMouse, please ask hosting or server support to activate zlib. multifile package makes a zip of all file to download which required zlib.

uplaod files in a dir and attach direct file url like http://www.janeellie.com/the-dir/JaneEllieSetup.zip as remote file url with your package.

ok now. removed the following line from process.php

alternative solution is, attach the file with package as remote url “http://www.janeellie.com/JaneEllieSetup.zip”
direct download is not related to php execution time, but when you are using wpdm pro , it download file through php script which is related to php execution time , simply ask your hosting/server support to set php time execution limit to unlimited.

1. you can removed that from functions.php
2 & 3. looks like it is happening for your cache plugin, disabled html and js minimization, that is breaking down js codes.

looks like zlib is not activate in your server, please server/hosting support to activate zlib.
it could be a plugin conflict with another plugin, please activate admin access
