[wpdm-categories] simply will generate regular category links. It is not like archive page.

now you only will see that only if the custom link template is delete, check check the template id in template section. the ID is incorrect or template with that id is deleted.

yes, from wpdm pro v4 its is using custom taxonomy and some other options from v3 is deprecated here.

that is not an issue actually. you can add all files in same package or create package separately and set access = the user groups/role you want to allow access to that package. that it, any one outside of the role will not have access to that package.

looks like you are using old version of wpdm pro, please update your copy.
