that means something happened with your email functions in your server, please ask server/hosting support.
After apply the key, it create a local key file in wpdm cache dir, if your server somehow delete the cache file or if /download-manager/cache/ dir is not writable, the issue may happen, repeatedly, please make /cache/ dir permission to 777.

no such short-code. the page here http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/ is coming from custom designed theme. But there are widgets for new downloads and top downloads.
ok now, actually there was a minor issue with individual download, we have fixed it for next update, but now I’ve updated your file from wp-admin.

the problem was causing by “Easy Digital Downloads”, As you are using wpdm pro, you don’t need “Easy Digital Downloads” at all. You can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/premium-package/ to sell any digital product. BTW, I see you are using v3 still now, better to upgrade to v4 ( http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/updating-from-wpdm-pro-v3-to-v4/ ).
the issue is with your theme. some js code somewhere in your theme hiding the drop-down with click event, please ask theme developer to adjust it :).
‘Allow Individual File Download’ feature does not apply for any lock option except password.
