the package was not setup properly. edit the package, update access and other fields, then it will work fine. You can add categories in menu from menu manager, if you don;t see download manager categories there, please check “Categories” from screen option from right-top corner of the screen.

process is, deactivate and delete old version, then install new version. Or simply upload new version files using ftp ( overwriting old version files).
FYI: deleting old version will not delete any data.

Actually downloading multiple package at a time may generate various issue. As there already have option to add multiple files under same package, again why there are need to multi package download.

Anyhow we are create an add-on, named “download basket” when you can add/bookmark packages for future download or send all them to their friends using email.
