Ok, looks like the post meta code is here <?php get_template_part(‘loop’,’single’); ?> means loop-single.php , so no you need to copy loop-single.php and rename new file as loop-singlewpdmpro.php and remove post meta code from there. then replace <?php get_template_part(‘loop’,’single’); ?> with <?php get_template_part(‘loop’,’singlewpdmpro’); ?> from your single-wpdmpro.php , however your theme developer could do it faster.

to activate lazy download , use lazy_download column and value = 1 for all in your csv file. For link and page template, field names mentioned in example csv file.

Yes, you can overwrite using custom template, to overwrite page details page page, need to create single-wpdmpro.php and for wpdm category page, need to create taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php in your active theme dir.You can use the function here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/function-reference/get_package_data/ to read custom page data.
it is coming form your theme, from your theme dir, create a new file named single-wpdmpro.php, copy contents of single.php to single-wpdmpro.php, now you can remove that post meta section from single-wpdmpro.php and save the file.
