we added close button long time ago, probably while you were updating all files were not uploaded properly. Or try clearing browser cache.

you need to do that from your server, wpdm don’t have any option for that. However we have an add-on “IP Block” in our to do list for such purpose.

Add additional condition in line 409 $cat->count > 0, but problem is if you do that, that also will hide the category and it sub cats, and sub cats may have packages

But, I tested both and got those working fine :S
