we actually named file ( added a prefix ) after upload then file with same name already exists and removed that prefix again before download, probably your file name has a part which is matching with that pattern. Use - instead of “_” in filename, however we will adjust it in next update.

no such option, you need to edit code for that, however next update of the plugin will have the option to customize the window and post type options.

I’ve install v4.2.1 and imported some old data, everything looks fine, you can migrate remaining data from download manager settings migrate tab.
