Company name and title are not available anymore in v4, however we are working on upgrading the email lock option so that you can add any field with that option.

from admin panel it just unlink file from package, it doesn’t delete file from server as same file can be linked with multiple package. However you can use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/file-manager/ for deleting file directly from admin panel.

In last update the desc option is changed, Because there you can select multiple categories, so we used the desc parameter to write full description directly from short-code.

I meant, When I go to http://bertplantagie.nl/beeldbank/, it is redirecting to http://bertplantagie.com/databank/, but archive page add-on has nothing to do with the redirection.

For Drop-down issue, disable bootstrap js from wpdm settings, and the layout issue is from link template, you need to create a new link template. More details about templates http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/

#1. Controlling complete site access is not part of the plugin, it will require customization. You can protect only wpdm package password protected

no such option from wpdm, but you can do that editing database directly. However we will add the bulk update feature with default value add-on.
