Those are not button image, they are individual link template, you need to install this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-button-templates/ and use short-code [wpdm_button_template id=package-id style="style-name" align="alignment"] in your page or post.

it usually should work with any membership plugin that support custom post type or may require little customization, however wpdm also have a membership add-on here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wp-pro-membership/ which is no less then any other membership plugin you can find out there.
It is actually not an issue with plugin, but there could be 2 reason for this trouble:
#1. CURL is not active in your server — in that case you need to activate CURL
#2. JavaScript Error with other plugin

Login info is not working, however short-code [slideshare id=32615157&doc=drvalya-140322141806-phpapp02] may not working in wpdm desc, but your can use the embed code directly.

using download period add-on your can specify download availability period for specific user. Special pack doesn’t have the add-on, you need to purchase it separately.
