do you mean, signup form is not working fine in checkout page or you just want to switch to guest checkout for simplicity. If you want to activate guest checkout, please go to Admin Menu Downloads Settings Premium Packages Check “Enable Guest Checkout” option Click “Save Settings” button.

That is not an error, all package tab highlighted, because you are in edit package window ( you may see similar phenomenon in admin side, when you are in edit post window, posts menu stay highlighted ), anyhow click on “All package” tag to go to package list.
you don’t have to do anything anymore. Anyhow, you can not add a package short-code ( example: [wpdm_package id="pid"] ) inside package description when creating / editing a package.
Actually download limit is working fine, you just were now seeing it, because when you download same page multiple time in same session, it counts as 1. For example, someone click on download link, then clicks again, here it will be counted as 1, but if he tries to download in another browser or after some time, it will be counted as new download and his total download now is 2.

Sorry, no such option, but you can attach style guide files with marketing resource packages, however still if you want it in your way it will require good amount of customization in code and you may mail to customize@wpdownloadmanager.com for quote.
Front-end UI is for creating packages from front-end, wpdm has no option to upload file without create package ( post ). However this add-on will give your a simpler UI for uploading file and creating package from front-end.
you can’t exclude certain category, but you can specify category for archive page:
[wpdm-archive link_template="link-template-panel" button_style="success" items_per_page=9 category="category-slug"]
They archive page will show all subcats under this category

Looks like you used wrong tag in link template, it should be [wpdm_acf-IAASSEntry-authors] where you used [wpdm_acf-IAASSEntry-Authors], I’ve updated link template with proper tag and looks ok now.

If you want to share same file with different url to need to create multiple package and in every package attach same file ( first time upload it, from next package browse it from server and attach with package ), enable password lock for every package, then share the package urls with companies accordingly.
