Sorry, got the issue, it was with the last update, however, new update with the fix is coming within next few hours.
It is redirecting you there as you are already logged in, guest checkout will work when you actually are not logged in, however I also have removed the update profile tab from that page, actually that is not necessary anymore as it is already available with user dashboard. Update is coming in next few hours.
BTW, how do you think about the download link inside email? Easy digital download adds open/unprotected download link in email, any person who have that link can download it even without any verification, will that be very secure for the sellers? But no problem, you are the seller, so if you want, I don’t have any problem to add download link in email.
Actually it should log you in automatically after signup in checkout step. And they show you the payment method option. May I please check it in your installation to find the issue, and auto login after signup in checkout steps is working fine for me.
Plugin doesn’t update automatically, when update is available, you need to update it clicking update link.

No such option, you need to change code for that. Open download-manager.php, find and replace 'exclude_from_search' ► (bool)get_option('__wpdm_exclude_from_search', false), with 'exclude_from_search' ► true,.

Now you actually can update wpdm and its add-ons from WPDM Settings Updates Tab just in a click. You can change button image from Admin Menu Downloads Settings Image Button tab, or please give me temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply here ( only you and me will be able to see that ) and tell me which image you want to set.
From next update of advanced custom field add-on, the ACF metaboxes will also be available from front-end.
