Can it be changed to ” Please complete the form below and click submit”
I tried editing the Template by creating a clone, however cannot find the text..
Secondly the “Submit button” roles off the page and is transparent, you cannot see it, can it be a button at the bottom?

To summarize – I reloaded the free version and it has a nice small yellow icon over the download link. Simple and clean. How do I recreate that in the PRO version……to have it look like the free version. Can you create that for one download….then I can duplicate on all six hundred files??
That is the best way I know to describe what I am trying to do.

Where in code can we translate : “Downloads ” (count)
I just added 60 PDF files to a new site and had to modify text and icon for each downloadable file it would be helpful to have default text and icon for link (download) changeable on per item basis.
Also possibility to personalize links a little more would be nice.
Thanks for a great plugin, I am ready to go pro but a little expensive for now.
Jean From FranceI would love to be able to upload a thumb which shows on the Manage Packages Page much like you could do in download monitor to give a visual indication of what is in each package, not just the file type icon which doesn’t help me as all my downloads are zip files.
I would also love to be able to copy the link for each package from the Manage Packages page (without having to view the package) as I prefer to use the link itself for downloads and have no need for the download icons/buttons.
When I password protect a download the password box flashes and then disappears. There is no way to enter the password.

First I would like to thank you for all the great futures you offer in this plugin. However, I am facing a major problem where user needs to search for a document. It’s a common sense that user should be able to search for a document when you managing download documents site or library.
When I bought this plugin I assumed like so many others that global search will be available for documents. So, please DO NOT tell me that I need to BUY an adds on to have that option.
I appreciate if you or other wonderful developers can tell me how the search works (JS or WP code or PHP) at your plugin, so I may able to find a way around it. Please look at this link, I know it’s local and you are not able to see anything, but just look at the way is written

I am also attaching an image that shows how bad the search works even for a page. I managed to show one search bar in a page using CSS which will search through all categories that I placed in one page, but see how returns all the headlines and if there is no result for documents still shows the headlines.
Please take a look and let me know how can I fix it with out BUYING another product that may not work properly.Thank you

I have been looking at this addon and it ticks most of the boxes for what I need. The only problem i see so far is that you cannot have multiple downloads per package. It looks like the software will zip the files all together rather than allowing a user to select just one file.
My project is to convert my existing games download website to use wordpress.
The site works like so
Homepage -> Category -> Game -> Downloads
When a user clicks install they can select the file or link they need to install the game. Sometimes I link to an iso or exe . Other times is might be to steam or desura external links.
Do you think this would be possible with the pro addon?

Topic: migrating files
Hi,
I’ve just migrated my site from the development sub domain to the rot dir using iThemes Backup Buddy tool. On the new site, download manager is there but none of the files I setup in the dev site are? Its like the links between the plugin and the physical files didn’t come over in the database migration. Everything is on the same server, any ideas how I can quickly restore the files in to the download manager database on the new site?

I feel like we are going round and round in circles with this issue. You ask me to check and make sure zlib was enabled at the very beginning of this ticket. I replied to you with a link that showed all of my hosting settings including my zlib settings (which indicated that they were in fact enabled). I asked you to look at these settings and let me know if i was missing anything. Your reply to my questions was to check the cache memory. I assumed from your response that my settings including the zilb were fine or you would have told me otherwise. According to my settings ( which i’m attaching again ) the zlib IS ENABLED. Please respond….

Where are the css classes for the [file_list]? I just need to change the link color in the download button.
When using any browser, my FTP uploaded file ~99MB is on the server, but cannot be downloading using this plugin. I am seeing this error on Chrome Error 354 (net::ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH):, on safari the download times out at 0. I have tried other size files and they do work.
The file downloads no problem by using just the WP Media link.
Why doesn’t this plug allow you to access the WP Media Link

I have resaved it and it seems to be working again now, but I haven’t changed anything that I can see. Why would it suddenly work again from a resave?
Is there a limit to how many times it can be downloaded somewhere?

I have set up a download which I wanted to be downloaded from my facebook page so I used the link in the code. (copied the link from the preview page)
It worked at first but now people are getting a text file called Link-Expired.txt with the words ‘Download link expired. Please get new download link.’ within the text file.Why is this no longer working. Here is the link I am having trouble with.

Hi bradmiller, I have zipped and uploaded my copy of download manager 2.4.0 with the added code in the functions file, I have put it up for download on my school site, please use the link below to download it, If you could let me know once you have so I can remove it I would appreciate it.

The code I have added is on line #591, I just added the following to the SQL “order by id desc” so that it orders them the opposie way.
