Hello,

I keep getting and error 500 when trying to access the plugin.

Following the instructions from this site http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/the-ultimate-guide-to-solving-500-internal-server-errors-and-blank-white-pages-in-wordpress/ I added the code bellow to the file /httpdocs/wp-config.php

After that I do not get the error anymore and the download link is working properly.

The errors I get from the log file are:

Second project using your Plug in and I am less confused this time, think next time I will be happy to play with it:D

So manage to got it set up nicely, but somehow on the download page a
widget – shailan-dropdown-menu-widget – is somehow overriding our primary widget.

We haven´t added the widget, never seen it before. How do I get rid of it?

Hi,
I am using a third-party plugin called Essential Grid to dynamically display my files for public download. While I can pull in fields like the title, content and categories/tags, I cannot get the download link to work. The ‘link’ just displays a java error.
– tried all possible meta labels (download_url, download_link, wpdm-download-link, download, file, wpfmdl, etc) and nothing works. Am I usign the wrong meta label?
– I thought it may have been that I was on the free plugin and it says only the Pro version has ‘personalized url’. So maybe java code was blocking the real URL. However, I have now purchased the Pro version and it is still not working. Do I even need the pro version for this?
– I did have problems in saving the purchase code in the settings section of the plugin (or just saving any setting changes). My website host said their system labelled it a false negative and blocked it, so they manually allowed it through. I think it now has saved the purchase code as the code is now always displayed and the save button now saves quickly. However, I still notice that when I try and click on the setting “open file in browser” and hit save it looks to work, but when I go back to that settings pages the option is again un-ticked.

I tried other download managers and was able to sue meta IDs to pull in the correct download link, however I wanted to use your download manager to do this. The main attraction of your plugin is the use of custom posts structure which should be more flexible in the long term.
