ok, I think I have verified that this is WDM problem. I have downloaded the file now without a WDM lin, with a direct link this time, and this worked well. For information, the files are all around 90-130 MB.
Arrrg, this is so frustrating….
My apologies with the recent issue – I should have known to put the tag inside the templates, but now I have lost the ability to moderate my reviews again (same issue as above)! Also, the [rating stars] tag displays twice on the PAGE LINK even though I have only entered it once in the template. (see screen capture).

I now have the ability to moderate each review, but now the “[rating_stars]” shortcode will not work. I have applied it to the following page: http://www.becgordonphotography.com/mylesson.com.au/download/government-funded-media-organisations/
I have also added the shortcode to the ‘LINKS’ Template – the average (displayed using the star symbols) still do not show.http://www.becgordonphotography.com/mylesson.com.au/media-studies/
The temporary wp-admin listed above still exists.

Can’t get Individual Download options to work. I would expect that link template would show two files if two files are attached to Package. But Package only has one link, and post that uses that package – only provides a zip download of two files.
Have included screen shot of radio button for Individual Download allowed

HI
I am assessing the free version 2.7.0 with WPML.
I have made your custom posts translatable with WPML.
I have created a download contain a PDF file.
I have created a French version of the PDF file and linked it to the English version (I used WPML to create a french version of the PDF).
I then copy and pasted the following shortcode, e.g. [wpdm_package id='509'] into the end of the English post.
However, in order to get the French version of the PDF to show up, I must add a new shortcode to the French post: [wpdm_package id='510'].
Is there any way to make this more automatic?
Would there be a way to include all attachments at the end of a post automatically without having to use shortcodes?
John
Ok it works but…!
Shortcode [download_link_extended] Button works, bit if a has like the fanpage before i must dislike first to get the download???
And then there is no download!
Any helf for me too?

use <a href="[download_url]">[icon]</a> to link icon with download
you need to create a link template, follow the docs here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ or send me temporary wp-admin login info in a private reply, I’ll crate one for you.

Thanks – that didn’t work. I set the email template to 777. Or did you mean the directory?
Editing the pop-up: I created a feature request, but what I mean is:
I’m using email lock, so when the user clicks a download_link he gets the standard “subscribe to download” popup. I’d like to change the text in the popup, and the text on the button. I’ve edited the code for now as I saw that the text is hard-coded. So I raised a feature request to be able to change that in the UI! It would be great to change that per-package too.
in that case replace [download_link] with [download_link_extended] from your link/page template
please replace [download_link] with [download_link_extended]
Please follow the docs here http://newlook.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/
Quick steps are:
#1. clone current link template you using there now
#2. replace [icon] with [thumb_64x64] & save template
#3. Use the new template
Here are my link template:
<div class=”clear”></div>
<div class=”row”>
<div class=”col-md-12″>
<div class=”thumbnail”>
<div class=”row”>
<div class=”col-md-3″>
[thumb_300x250]
</div>
<div class=”col-md-5″>
<h4>[title]</h4><br/><br/>
[excerpt_200]
<div style=”margin-top: 10px;”>
[thumb_gallery_40x40]
</div>
</div>
<div class=”col-md-4″>
<table class=”table table-bordered table-striped”>
<tbody>
<tr><td>Dateigröße</td><td>[file_size]</td></tr>
<tr><td>Heruntergeladen</td><td>[download_count] mal</td></tr>
<tr><td>Letztes Update</td><td>[update_date]</td></tr>
<tr><td colspan=”2″>[download_link]</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>

Hi
I have installed Download Manager with the Addon WPDM – Facebook Share Lock and activate the plugin!
My Downloads are possible via a link template only! See Screenshot 1! It works without problems!
if a activate Lock Options (see Screenshot) in the Download package with url of the facebook site nothing happens!
I become following option after klick on a download link! (Screenshot 3) – and nothing happens! Where is the problem?
Test it here: http://parallax.rothe-immobilien.de/service/downloads/broschueren/
Is it possible to give me a like option only on another way?
Regards from Germany

Let me just add that of course zip files force browser to open dialogue box (as you can see on some other downloads on homepage (http://zooll.com) but I would like that to be the case also with links to images not zipped, and the v3 did that. In the attachment I am sending the printscreen of the jpg link package from v3 when it was all working the way I needed – opening the dialogue box even on images.
I was able to remove the “Download Stats” link by adding this line to my theme’s functions.php: remove_action('admin_head', "addusercolumn");

I have the latest version of WPDM and Custom Access Level installed (purchased today), as well as Groups and Groups File Access by ITTHINX. The latter is in use currently and I would like to replace it with WPDM – if I can get it working.
So far, Bulk Import isn’t working for me. Specify a directory, it correctly lists the files, update and select them all, and they appear to be imported correctly. But then the full file path isn’t prefixed to the attached file of each package, resulting in the “file-not-found.txt” file being presented instead. (Screenshot shows before and after manually adding file and how it should look)
Secondly, unless each Package Allow Access section is specifically edited to add “All Visitors” the download link is blocked and therefore this and also the Access Restrictions at the top of each package (or bulk edited through the list of All Packages) are not being honoured. (Screenshot shows Allow Access and Access Restrictions sections)
The master_trainer_esmoe and master_trainer_chc groups exist in Groups.
Please assist – currently WPDM is unusable in the current state.
HI,
We have created a package. We are using the custom access level add on.
We have created a page with the [wpdm_my_downloads] shortcode and when logged in we see the package file in the table.
But when we click the link to the package it goes to a blank page. We would like the link to just download the file instantly when clicked.
Also does the accordion add on work with the custom access level plugin? so could we set the access level in the package but display the users files in the accordion view?
Thanks
My main downloads page works with my template and shows correctly my right sidebar widgets.
But when you click the link to be taken to the details page it shows different sidebar widgets I don’t even use.
Yes I can edit each package in the ‘Package Settings’ but there should be a way to modify the template it is pulling from.
There should be a way to mass update packages that have already been created and published.
How can I change or edit the package details page? How can I mass update the package details page to reflect the correct side bars? Where is the package details page template located in the WPDM software?
Thanks you Shaon
We have just upgraded to the latest version of Download Manager Pro. We also did the V3 to V4 migration. We installed the extended short code plugin when we were using V3, and we are using the [wpdm_tree] shortcode on our downloads page (http://www.akacosnulting.com/support/cmdownloads/). Everything looks okay, but when you click on one of the packages, there’s no link to the package’s page. The user just stays on the downloads page. I’m not sure what I have failed to do to get this working. Any ideas? We can create an FTP account for you, if required.
Thank you for any help you can give us!
