Sorry, I thought you want to hide download buttons in the file list.
However, You can show the download button when inserting package shortcode. As you are using Form Lock all forms will make the page very long. I have applied a custom link template in the first accordion https://www.cromsource.com/publications/
If you want you can apply the same template for all packages there. But a template without form will look better there.

If you want to add the search and category filter feature in all packages table you just have to add
jstable=1parameter[wpdm-all-packages jstable=1]In archive shortcode, you can use custom link template to make it look like all package table. But it is not possible to use the exact table. Okay, a bigger problem I have is also that I have multiple downloads on the same page but some are hidden by another plugin. These downloads can’t be accessed through the F12 console or similar, but if the person simply knows the permalink they can get to the download page. (I have the downloads set to be accessible only by Admin and Subscriber and all other users are subscribers). Would there be a way to hide the post pages on user by user basis or completely?
by post page I mean the page the permalink sends you to.

Hey,
I was hoping you could help me figure a way to prevent people hotlinking the specific download page or perhaps even disabling the download “post” altogether. I only ever put downloads on the front-end via shortcode anyways.

I don’t want to hide the individual download links. I want terms and conditions to be accepted before individual files can be downloaded. Not the entire package.

You have to use a page template that doesn’t have
[file_list]template tag. That will hide the individual download links.Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply. I will set up a sample package for you.

Your key is linked to intranet.elgas.com.au If you are using Download Manager in that site then license key should work fine unless you server blocking connection to https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/ Please check if that’s the issue.
From current version, you can update plugin from your WP Dashboard.
i created a link template with my own code.
when i try to add the [page_link] code .. the formatting gets messed up.
if i add [page_url] .. it works fine. this only happens when i use [page_link] or [download_link] code.
this attachment shows the link template before trying to use [page_link] — this is how it should look.
I’ve created a page that has links to multiple Download files using short codes. All of the files have “Enable Captcha Lock” as a Lock Option.
Only the last file on the page actually has the “I am not a robot” Captcha confirmation. The other files on the page have the “Verify Captcha to Download” header, but not the “I am not a robot” confirmation.
What do I need to to do to get all of the files to have a “I am not a robot” confirmation?

Update: Checked console output for page. (see 3rd attachment). The following error is being generated: Uncaught Error: ReCAPTCHA placeholder element must be empty
When I searched on the error, I found the following page, which seems to indicate that the ReCaptcha code only needs to be loaded once. ReCaptcha code is being loaded each time for each file.https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37021241/error-recaptcha-placeholder-element-must-be-empty
Also, you might be missing some parameters on the ReCaptcha code load. Below page indicates that the parameters “async defer” should be included in the call

Have you installed the Pro version of WPDM? If not please download it here. Deactivate and delete free version before installing Pro version. You won’t lose any data.
You can use Form Lock plugin to use a custom form instead of email lock. Or another option is using Advanced Custom Fields add-on. ACF add-on adds more fields to the email lock. Please check those links to know more about add-on features.

1 ) Create a custom link template from Downloads Template page. You can clone an existing template from that page and edit on top of it. Remove all data that is not important for you ( i.e. version, date, download count etc ). Also remove
[page_url]and[page_link]template tags those exists there. That will remove all link to the details page.When inserting the category shortcode select this custom template as your link template. Install TinyMCE add-on to insert shortcode easily.
2 ) You can also modify the details page ( http://rodribv.com/download/test-bestand/ ) by using a custom page template.

HI Shahriar,
the only license related error notification we get for WpDownloadManager is this: “Please activate license for automatic update. ”
But I’m thinking if this issue persists but only affects the auto update featured, we’re thinking to just download the latest files from you guys and manually update.
As long as the download links we build continue to work, then we’re ok.
We had no issues like this in the staging site when we were testing it. But it was in an earlier version of wordpress.
Is license verification only for automatic updates?

We have other plugins that are doing ajax calls to admin-ajax.php but they have no issues with the access. This is download manager pro 4.7.1
Our main concern is that we are using it for all our private download links and that this issue may affect the plugins functionality in serving these links.
Does the license file limit the main plugin functionality of managing the download links or is it just for automatic updates?

Hi there, you’re saying ‘Okay now.’ but when I go and test it’s not working still.
Now instead of coming up with ‘Unauthorised Access’ i’m just getting a broken link instead of the package downloading.
You can go and test this on the package that I think you tested with last time, it doesn’t download the package file.
Please can you advise what the issue with this is as I need to know for future updates, I can’t have it break every time I upgrade the plugin version.

Please save your license key in Downloads Settings License tab to verify your order.

Install the latest version of Download Manager if you are getting an “Invalid key error” when saving the key.
