We have other plugins that are doing ajax calls to admin-ajax.php but they have no issues with the access. This is download manager pro 4.7.1
Our main concern is that we are using it for all our private download links and that this issue may affect the plugins functionality in serving these links.
Does the license file limit the main plugin functionality of managing the download links or is it just for automatic updates?

Hi there, you’re saying ‘Okay now.’ but when I go and test it’s not working still.
Now instead of coming up with ‘Unauthorised Access’ i’m just getting a broken link instead of the package downloading.
You can go and test this on the package that I think you tested with last time, it doesn’t download the package file.
Please can you advise what the issue with this is as I need to know for future updates, I can’t have it break every time I upgrade the plugin version.

Install the latest version of Download Manager if you are getting an “Invalid key error” when saving the key.

You can get the simplest download link from “All Packages” page. Copy the master download link from there and set it as the link to any text.

Or you can use the “Button Template” when inserting the shortcode. This template will show only a button. Use TinyMCE add-on to insert shortcode.

Hi,
I need the most simple download way there is. Can you download a package directly from the ‘Link’?
If not, how do I adjust the /download page where the link goes to? The template for that is beneath alot of social and filter components, is this the WP theme that does that? How do I edit this?

- In that case, you have to create a temporary download link and mail him
- You need to create role based discount from Pricing and Discounts page
- WPDM can’t protect URL, if you want to sell access to URL like http://www.louisparlas.com/Books/Peri_Sinergatikon/index.html, you can sell, but, customers will be able to share those URLs, but, if you want to keep those URL protected, there will require some additional customization.

Due to some JS errors in the page popover form not working. Use the embedded form instead. I have created a custom page template ‘Extended Clone’ and applied it to your ‘Test’ package. After form submission now the download link is provided on the page.
Please use

I installed the Pro version and added a download package.
The name of the 2 PDF files are shown, but there is no download link, even if I am logged in.
Next to the “Download:” text there is a red X.
When I am not logged in, there is a “Download” link that loads a “no permission” txt file.What is wrong here?

Unfortunately clicking the icon does not fix the issue as the field is populated with the entire link and the background image link is wrong, e.g.:
I have to overwrite with “download-manager/assets/file-type-icons/pdf.png” to get it to work.

Big fan of yours and long time user. I have a multi-site with 20+ subsites. I’ve just renewed in August and am still unable to get an update for all my sub sites in working condition. I need your help and support to get this done.

Tried this agin but when you fill in the form, you still cannot download the file.
See attached. It keeps asking for the form to be filled in.
The client does not want the download link to be emailed either.
What is the issue with this now?

Create a custom link/page template. You can clone an existing one and replace the
[download_link]template tag with the following code.<a herf="[download_url]" target="_blank">View</a>In Downloads Settings Basic find and enable “Open in browser” option.
Now select this link/page template in package setting meta box.

Download Manager does not have any add-on yet to filter posts by custom fields. Directory add-on has advanced search feature [ demo link ] though.

The issue was your custom page template because it doesn’t have the
[download_link]or[download_link_extended]tag.Create a custom template which contains one of these tags or use the Extended page template.

Our goal with this plugin was to protect the download links so only our subscribers would be able to download our files.
The problem is that subscriber accesses the page, then they have the dropbox link and could easily save the dropbox link and/or send it to someone. How do we eliminate this problem? If people can just save the url and send it to other people then there is really no reason to have the plugin.
Hello am using your program to allow some users to see a PDF Files up to 100 times.
The problem is that when the payment is made and they get the confirmation email the link the program sends its says your download is not ready.

When I am trying to create packaged from front end up-loader, it is showing the download link with a delete icon. But neither delete icon is working nor download icon is working. How do I get to display these packages as same as the other packages?
In the screenshot ttached, the last package names “video 5” was created through front end uploader and also pagination UI is not not rendered properly. Please check.

Hello I have a problem with email lock: I used both Must Agree with Terms and Email lock (but I get the same behaviour with only email lock). When the user insert name and email and submit the form, he/she gets the processing message lasting forever. The email with the link is sent correctly but the download link does not appear on the web page.
Can you help?
I am using the latest version of both the plugin and wordpress.

I tried this, but it obviously did nothing new as I’m just copying the un-themed archive page into a new file named taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php. I also meant to say that I’d like the layout of the category / archive page to use a link template I created. Pasting shortcodes into my taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php do nothing.
