When you enable the lock option, the download buttons hide. Cause that is the real download link to the file.

Custom templates that you create using our Template editor are stored in the database. Using Bootstrap in the template is your choice. If you don’t want to use Bootstrap, that’s okay too.

You can also use a file to add custom templates. In that case template files will be stored in /your-theme/download-manager/link-templates or /your-theme/download-manager/page-templatesdir based on template type. Just add the template info above the file

Download works when you use the package download link, not the single file download button. I know it is not the solution, just pointing the origin of the issue.

From Membership Settings Advanced page enable the Show WPDM package info option. That will block the download link only.

@John, Your key is linked to calforests.org Do you want me to unlock it from there? If you are using the key there but still getting the error then updating Download Manager should fix the issue.

Please link your site with update server by logging in from Downloads Settings Updates tab:

BTW, you may not see update link immediately, but it will appear after a while.

Thanks for your query. You can achieve this functionality with our WPDM Directory Add-on. For this you need to install this add-on as normal plugin and then activate it.

Now, For creating an advance search page with WPDM Directory Add-on, you have to use the shortcode.

It seems fine with the latest version. did you cache your page already?

Though, there is the blank page appears for no result in search. We will look into it.
