Updated your custom link template. Replaced [download_link] with <a href="[download_url]" target="_blank">[link_label]</a>. The download is working now.
You can check the Downloads Stats Download History Tab. If there is any download from unknown IP then that should indicate the order has been downloaded. But entries are not linked to the order id.
Yes, it is possible to insert the order id in the database. If the customer is a registered user you can just assign another order with the same product. You can create the order a guest and then assign it to the custom from order details admin page.
It is also possible to create an order with that order id. But we have to edit database entry for that.

The issue seems to be related to the iframe. But have to investigate further to be sure. But the embedded download link works fine. I have applied the embedded download link using another page template to fix the issue.

2 ) You are not moving the file. You are making a new template file to override the default one. Your changes will still be there when you update the plugin.

You can use a template file to modify the Register Now link in the login form. The login form template is located here /download-manager/tpls/wpdm-login-form.php. Copy that file and place it in /your-active-theme/download-manager/ directory. Then modify the link in this new template file. You can also add extra fields in registration form using the same approach. Registration form template is wpdm-reg-form.php in the same directory.

I know. The problem happens when I use the package URL on the plugins lock options.
I changed the share URL of one of the packages back to the package URL so that you can see for yourself.

It wil lshare on Linkedin. And then click on the Link on Linkedin. It will take you back to my website. Try to do go through the same process.
You will see that the download button will not bring share on linkedin popup.

I wanted to know how to edit the Registration and Login forms.
For the login form, I would like the “Register” llink to open a specific registration form. (this is a registration form that i have created with another plugin, because i cannot figure out how to edit the wp download manager registration form).
I would also like to know how to add fields to the registration form (so i can solely use wp download manager, instead of the above method)
I would also like it to redirect users (upon login/registration) to their customer dashboard, instead of wp dashboard. How do i enable this?

Thank you for your help, but I am still having problems.
When somebody submits the form the notification message that has been submitted appears but there is no option to download the document. You have to refresh the page to see the download link.
Secondly, I would prefer if possible to have the form appearing only if somebody wants to download the document, which will mean that he has to press the download button, so the page template with [download_link_extended] is not ideal. Is it possible to avoid?

This problem really is a pain, I’ve a few hundred posts with an image in the description. The image is hyperlinked to itself, 
etc…
How can I remove these lines from all my downloads? I’ve a feeling it needs regex on the database, but no clue with regex.
Maybe if you could tell me where in the database to look for the content?

This is Sample Data after I import, on the home page there are some errors as follows:
1. Counter download does not show downloads? “in these sections: NEW DOWNLOADS, POPULAR DOWNLOADS”?
2. The title of the package and More have two different links when clicked (specifically when clicking on More then the link is the default WP post after install, not the package link)? “in these sections: NEW DOWNLOADS, POPULAR DOWNLOADS”?
Is this theme faulty? And I tried the free Centric theme, the result was the same as the Crypton theme. Now, what must I do? I was bored when I ordered 3 items but not good results …

In a recent update, a client’s document library seemed to break.
Instead of pulling up the file linked with the package, [download_url] pulls up a generic, empty file called “download-manager-file.”
We can solve this problem by making any minor modification to the package and saving it. Then the package works as expected.

Follow up to 1. Something’s not quite right with the whole plugin. Just tried downloading the file a was previously testing for emailing the link (now with no lock). I’m still getting an error for this download. I am logged in as admin.
1 ) You can email download link only for packages without locks.
2 ) By active-theme I meant the theme you are using now. So, for it should be /homa/download-manager/ Send FTP info if you need help with in this. I will create the template file for you.
I am also having a problem of not having icons in both Firefox and Chrome Desktop and Mobile browsers.
HOWEVER, using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge, the icons show up WAY too big.
This just started after the last update.

– You can set custom download button text from Package Settings Meta Box Link Label option.
– To open the file in new tab use a custom template. Clone the current template you are using now and replace [download_link] template tag with <a target="_blank" href="[download_url]">[link_label]</a>.

WPDM Image button is not returning the required btn classes instead it shows “__wpdm_download_btn__” in class. This results in the download link being plain text link instead of a button.
