Topic: Am I missing these
Hi – I’m trying to find a solution for the following – could you advise?
1. Is it possible to have a “back” button on the download page so users can go back to the links page for that download?
2. Is it possible to have the page details page appear on a page other than the default “blog” page of the website
3. In the breadcrumbs for a download page the trail appears as “downloads” which resolves to a 404 – is it possible to specify the breadcrumb as being a particular page that relates to the links list page for that customer?

MarkWhen I click on a PDF download link from WPDM Pro it now comes up with all of the ASCII characters on the browser instead of opening the PDF. Anyone else get this? Can we force a download?

when test with an existing user, the link in the email, to download works ok.

Where can I adjust the settings of the output email to the admin?
I got it to send one email with name, email and phone number, but it didn’t include the name of the package they downloaded. Instead it gave me a key and the following message:

Please check the link again. The first image shows which download button to click to see the problem, the second one shows the problem after I have clicked the link.

actually [file_List] is just a table with download link, however you can try using [file_list_extended]

Hello-world-2.pdf the Tittle is: Hello World Two
Hello-world-3-pdf the Tittle is: Hello World ThreeSo how can i create a simple shortcode on a post in my blog or page that list those 3 PDFs of the package 1?
The shortcode must show:
Hello World One
Hello World Two
Hello World ThreeNote: Every link has to download its own PDF
Using [File_List] is not usefull for me in this case for the format, i only want a simple list
Please help me

Hi,
In the “Panel” link template, it is very useful to have these options:-individual file size for each file
-individual number of downloads for each file.The benefit of this if: say an admin have a 10 series audio talk, the users can download the parts they want, and know the information related to the parts, but also enables the admin to put the whole series in one package, rather than having 10 packages to show the aobve mentioned information per file.

I have to go through the file download page and click on the download button.

I am trying to modify the “panel” link template to be used without the need for a download page, as I insert the WPDM shortcodes into posts and don’t need another page for download.
I have packages with multiple files. I want the user to be able to download the files individually, but to omit the option to download the whole package. (and omit # of downloads and total package size, as it will be meaningless for users).
I want the panel to have:
-Individual file names
-individual download buttons
-individual file size for each file
-individual number of downloads for each file.i have succeeded to modify the “panel template” to have the first 2 options:

Does it mean we can not show this in an e-mail when we send an e-mail with the e-mail-lock function?

If you want complete control over template, you need to create a template file

An hyperlink with Download here does not work.
Also, how can we change the location of the files when we upload them in the wordpress environment? Or do we need to use the url after uploading via FTP?

Hi there- I’m hoping to extend some functionality here in the basic file list and provide a direct link to “View” the file (in the case of PDFs, so the browser PDFViewer can simply open the doc) in addition to the download button. Where in the $files object/array is the pure URL to the file? I’ve found the full file list in the object but for some reason cannot seem to find the index that is used to hit a specific file.
Any help would be appreciated!

You can do that in two ways.
1. You can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/crypton/ theme. Its home page is designed like your desired home page.
2. You can use http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-extended-short-codes/ add-on. You have to use 3 short-code in this regard. To add slider use
