Well I thought this one was going to do the trick. I have searched and searched to get a link to the downloads so I can have a page there with say 12 model “cards” that then get clicked on to download the model. I can not produce this page (category page) if you will for the available downloads. I have made the permalink /download . I have done this as a page, nothing. I have made a product category in my store, nothing. I want to have a page like this one 
. I found this this monring so I added the custom link, nothing. I can put the downloads themselves as a submenu item, but not a page where they are organized. Basically I can not find or produce a Download directory that works. 404 Error no matter what using https://www.hoodbillyhaven.com/download there is never any downloads to choose from. Hope this makes sense as it has been frustrating me for 3 days now. I’ve even tried unintalling and reinstalling the plugin. It retains old data and acts the same. I don’t want to start all over on this site, but I’m at a loss, and I’m could have redone it by now, had I just given up. Thanks in advance for any help.

First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the issue with the “My Downloads” section. Typically, premium packages (like paid files) do not appear in the “My Downloads” section by default. However, we can make this possible for you, which is why we have requested your login credentials to make the necessary changes on your behalf.
If you’re uncomfortable providing your WordPress login credentials. You can simply wait for an upcoming update that we are releasing specifically for premium packages, which will be available soon.

That certainly sounds like a glitch, even if a temporary one. We downloaded the exact same file and installed from my “download area” several times, and it did not work. When I purchased, the payment hung up and did not give me a confirmation screen. I had to close out… A few minutes later, I got an email with the order info. I created an account and logged in using that same email hoping something was there and nothing was there. I had to click in from the email to re-create the account from the email in order to see anything in downloads appear at all. Every time we downloaded and installed the plugin and clicked “activate” we got a “fatal error.” The frustration was that we tried this all afternoon and needed to get our clients data migrated… after the plugin failed to activate many times, we had to give up. I spent 2+ hours changing 310 records manually, converting them from our clients old website wpdmdl reference links in their data to the authentic URL links. Now, magically the plugin works, and we no longer need the plugin. Can you understand my frustration?

It is OK, don’t worry. It should be an option to be able to change the page title of the Archive Page. Again, the page title “Downloads” is coming automatically.

This is a WP Download Manager system generated Archive page, how do I change its name? Again, if you look at the 2nd image, the link shows .products in the link, but the page is called “Downloads.” This is also on the Demo page on this website.

Hi. My found out that there are no files in wp-content folder. I recovered the files by restoring an old backup. Thanks. I did reinstall wordpress two weeks ago. Files were moved by exporting downloads and importing to the new install. It worked fine until now but I guess that’s where the problem came from. As long as I got my files back I am cool lesson learnt I will back up files in the cloud.

In Download Manager Pro you can easily download single files, using the single Download option.
To display all downloads on a single page, you can use our wpdm_all_packages shortcode. For more details about the all_packages shortcode, please visit this page.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have now tried to download a file individually in the demo (pink arrow). Unfortunately, that doesn’t work. I am not offered the option to download the other PDF files, but I think that the buttons are covered by the “Top Downloads” field. However, I can download the entire package at the top left (red arrow).

I have two questions about the Download Manager:
a) Is the extension able to offer multiple downloads individually in one post? In the demo I can upload multiple files and offer them for download, but they can only be downloaded as a package and not individually.
b) Can you activate and deactivate a post at a specific time?

uff so i bought it when i don t need it then if specially to specify to a user , i want my downloads to show to all registered users and admins that s it.
ok bought but when i set as admin and subscribers to allow show my downloads and files it will not show unless i add each user email manually, that s it?

Is it possible to achieve the following use-case with the Email Lock feature and user registration?
When a user visits the site and wants to download a file, can WPDM allow a “User Registration” form in a modal format instead of just their name and email address? The goal here is to allow the user to ‘register’ with a username/password, name, email, etc… the very first time they want to download a file, instead of just name and email address. Then, if the user returns to the site weeks/months later to download a file again and they are no longer ‘logged in’, a modal window would pop up asking them to register and/or login.
Hope my scenario makes sense. Here’s a simpler breakdown to help clarify.
User clicks on Download button. Modal pops up asking user to register and/or login. If they register, they fill out name, email, username, password. Once they register or login, the file automatically downloads. If they want to download another file, it would automatically download. If their session expires when they try to download another file in the future, a modal window will pop up asking to register or login.

And please use [download_link] template tag in your used template, thus I hope the appearance settings that has been set by you, will be effected from Downloads > Settings > User Interface > Color/Download Button. Currently only the “Main Download Button” seems to be protected.
So when the bundle contents are listed, these Single File Download buttons are not protected. This means I can just download without the popup to appear.
It would make more sense that all downloads (bundle or single) are treated the same way regarding the lock. From my point of view there is now advantage to have no lock on the Single File Download of the bundle, while the bundle is locked. Either I lock all or none.

Hope you are well. Can you please elaborate more on your issue? Do you want to restrict downloads with the Allow Access option with a certain role? And do you want to register the user manually by admin from the WP-Admin > Users > Add New section? Please kindly check and let me know.
