Hello Josh Rudzek,
Hope you are well. Thanks for writing to us. You can change Package URL Base as I image attached from Downloads > Settings

However changing URL base daily basis automatically may need to take custom upgrade order from here, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/custom-upgrade-service/. Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
I am using the following shortcode to display a list based on certain categories:
[wpdm_category id="brochures, terraclad" operator="AND" order_by="create_date" order="ASC" cols="2" colspad="2" colsphone="1" toolbar= "0" paging="0" ]
What I want is to show all the files attached to that package and not just the PDF, for example if you see the following URL, you can see in the image that it only shows the PDF icon (I click on it and it downloads a zip with the two files) but I want the downloads to be individual and show both files independently

Hi Nayeem, I’ve checked the downloads and it has been added to the website, the downloaded folder is called ‘WPDM-archive-page’ why is this name different from what it appears on your website?
Sorry for your all inconvenience. I have found the issue. It was the bootstrap that was disabled from Downloads > Settings > User Interface
. I have enabled now that the issue has been resolved. I have also added the below css in Customizer > Additional CSS
.w3eden .modal {
z-index:99999;
}
Please kindly check.
Thank you and kind regards

hi,
I had checked these options in the Download Limit add-on:
Count unique downloads only
Allow repeated download of already downloaded file
but it is still counting the download in the same file. Is this a bug or is there anything else I can do?
Another question, upon reaching the download limit, can we just have a popup and not go into some sort of an error page that is currently happening right now? I can give you links in private so you can see my issue.
Thanks
Okay, for that go to Downloads > Templates > Import Template and from there you can easily import the template called: Image Hover
or any template you may like. This is a screenshot for your assistance.
Kindly check

Hello WP Forum,
I’m currently having a problem with making a zip file available for downloads. The zip is password protected by the free version of the plug-in ‘Download Manager’ and made publicly accessible. Whoever clicks on it is led to a new window, enters the password and clicks Download.
However, the document that is then in the download folder of my MacBook has the same name as the website and is not a ZIP. Only when I rename the file to xyz.zip does it become a zip file with the corresponding icon.
I had previously carried out the same process with a pdf. That worked really well.
The wrong name for the file must have been created on the way from the website to my computer – but where? Does anyone here in the forum have an idea why the ZIP is not displayed correctly after the download?
The link to the corresponding webpage is as follows: https://resceurope.eu/download_test/
All the best,
Jochen
Hi – Another question on Favourites: I have been trying to use the [fav_icon] (or any of the other favourite template shortcodes in a link template, but the HTML structure of any page it displays gets broken.
Also, ideally, when listing a user’s favourite downloads, I don’t really want a tab. I want to display their selected favourites in various places around the site. Additionally, when I tried to use the suggested shortcode, I couldn’t activate the favourites tab when clicking on it.
And, finally, if a user isn’t logged in, they don’t get asked to create an account or log in when they click on the add to favourites icon. What is the expected behaviour?
Many thanks,
Marcus
Oh, one thing that we have noticed. The downloads page now only shows a few products but does search for all of them. Have you switched off the pagination?

Hello,
Well I thought this one was going to do the trick. I have searched and searched to get a link to the downloads so I can have a page there with say 12 model “cards” that then get clicked on to download the model. I can not produce this page (category page) if you will for the available downloads. I have made the permalink /download . I have done this as a page, nothing. I have made a product category in my store, nothing. I want to have a page like this one
. I found this this monring so I added the custom link, nothing. I can put the downloads themselves as a submenu item, but not a page where they are organized. Basically I can not find or produce a Download directory that works. 404 Error no matter what using https://www.hoodbillyhaven.com/download there is never any downloads to choose from. Hope this makes sense as it has been frustrating me for 3 days now. I’ve even tried unintalling and reinstalling the plugin. It retains old data and acts the same. I don’t want to start all over on this site, but I’m at a loss, and I’m could have redone it by now, had I just given up. Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, Antonio
I hope this message finds you well.
First and foremost, I sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding the issue with the “My Downloads” section. Typically, premium packages (like paid files) do not appear in the “My Downloads” section by default. However, we can make this possible for you, which is why we have requested your login credentials to make the necessary changes on your behalf.
If you’re uncomfortable providing your WordPress login credentials. You can simply wait for an upcoming update that we are releasing specifically for premium packages, which will be available soon.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Regards
That certainly sounds like a glitch, even if a temporary one. We downloaded the exact same file and installed from my “download area” several times, and it did not work. When I purchased, the payment hung up and did not give me a confirmation screen. I had to close out… A few minutes later, I got an email with the order info. I created an account and logged in using that same email hoping something was there and nothing was there. I had to click in from the email to re-create the account from the email in order to see anything in downloads appear at all. Every time we downloaded and installed the plugin and clicked “activate” we got a “fatal error.” The frustration was that we tried this all afternoon and needed to get our clients data migrated… after the plugin failed to activate many times, we had to give up. I spent 2+ hours changing 310 records manually, converting them from our clients old website wpdmdl reference links in their data to the authentic URL links. Now, magically the plugin works, and we no longer need the plugin. Can you understand my frustration?
Please kindly check now, https://spacel.it/?page_id=2690, you have to remove thumb=1
parameter from shortcode for showing icon as per documentation, https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_all_packages-list-all-downloads-in-tabular-format-in-a-page/. Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
Hello HappyHelper,

as I image attached,

Please kindly check and let me know.
Thank you and kind regards
It is OK, don’t worry. It should be an option to be able to change the page title of the Archive Page. Again, the page title “Downloads” is coming automatically.
Thank you,
Hi Tahasin,
This is a WP Download Manager system generated Archive page, how do I change its name? Again, if you look at the 2nd image, the link shows .products in the link, but the page is called “Downloads.” This is also on the Demo page on this website.
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well and thanks for reaching out.
Could you please clarify which downloads you’re referring to? A screenshot would be really helpful.
Thank you!
Hi. My found out that there are no files in wp-content folder. I recovered the files by restoring an old backup. Thanks. I did reinstall wordpress two weeks ago. Files were moved by exporting downloads and importing to the new install. It worked fine until now but I guess that’s where the problem came from. As long as I got my files back I am cool lesson learnt I will back up files in the cloud.
